I got to know Kenny through his father, who was a lifelong friend. During the brief times we had together before and after Mel's death, I saw a side of Kenny that made me respect and admire how he handled himself and the pressure of dealing with the associated affairs. I wish I could have helped him more and relieved some of the burden, but Kenny was determined to follow through with the myriad of details left for him to handle.
Rest in peace, Kenny, you served your father well.
