The receptionist when we checked into this hotel was so welcoming and friendly. She made sure we knew all about the hotel and it’s facilities. The cookies she supplied us with were delicious. Our room was well designed with a very comfortable bed. We slept well.

This hotel is conveniently located about 1 mile away from a shopping area (that has everything from a Lowe's, Walmart, and restaurants). It was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. My only concern was the coffee station in the morning... there were no single use items or protection from others touching things. You also need to know there is no maid service (which is expected) but we were not told how to get items needed from the room. (We ran out of tissue and tp in the middle of the night - not used to having to watch for supplies when we travel so that's kinda on me. The front desk quickly replenished our supply when I went to ask about it.) I would stay there again - nice place.

Front Royal is our favorite place in Virginia and this is our favorite place to stay. Located next to a beautiful golf course in the Shenandoah Valley with the Blue Ridge Mountains in in the background the view does not get any better. We love this place so much, we spent extra days relaxing an d touring the beautiful village and all the surrounding area. Every business has a super star employee and in this hotel, Christian is it. Always a warm friendly smile and very accommodating with all requests. Another person that was also very helpful during our stay was the lady that took care of our linen and room. Very nice.

We spent one night here and were really impressed with the friendly staff and cleanliness of the hotel and room. It's nice to walk down the halls and go into your room without smelling harsh or perfumed cleaning product smells. Very pleased with the stay and will definitely stay again the next time we are traveling in the area.

Amazing staff was very polite, everyone so eager to help out with any need. Very clean and well kept facility. Everything was well managed and timed perfectly. The meals at Houlihans were extremely well made with a very courteous staff. The bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this establishment to any of my friends and family.

We traveled for a weekend and noticed upon entering many guests in the lobby with no masks talking. Then looked over and saw 3 clerks behind the counter all with no mask at all or under the chin. Then the clerk that checked us in put hers on over just her mouth and not nose. The next day the clerk behind the counter had absolutely no mask and when talking with her she didn't even attempt to put one on. Also ran into 3 different janitorial staff and one had a mask on under her chin and the other 2 had no masks at all. We asked one for more coffee and she didn't put one on to give it to us when physically handing it to us. Looks like the mentally about masks here is whatever. Other than that the motel is a nice place and clean. If you don't care about masks yourself you will fit right in.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It is on a really scenic golf course. The staff were really friendly & there is so much truck parking. The girl at the front desk actually let me choose which floor I wanted a room on. The fitness center is top notch w/ e/thing you need & there is a nice pool adjacent. Super comfortable bed. Fridge in room. (You have to request a micro & they bring it to your room) - absolute only d/side was no free b/fast (but there is a restaurant attached)
I would def recommend this hotel .
p.s. Super early morning up through golf course n/hood was so peaceful & well worth it. Be blessed !!!

Eight of us travelled for a week long golf holiday during the last week of April. It was our first time staying at the Doubletree. The trip was organized by Megan and she arranged our rooms and had a package waiting for us when we arrived that included our breakfast vouchers and tee time certificates.
We played at Blue Ridge shadows, Shenandoah and Rock Harbour - all were in great shape.
The hotel was first class - the rooms were comfortable and the sheets and pillows were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfasts in Houlihans ( the in hotel restaurant) were fine. The waitress, Nicki, was great and went out of her way to arrange a table for us each morning so we could eat together.
Highly recommended.

New hotel, spacious room. Had a room overlooking the golf course and the woods beyond, nice! Twenty minute drive from northern entrance to Shenandoah Valley National Park. I don't believe that there are nearby restaurants, but as drove through dark from SVNP am not sure. There is an attached restaurant and I enjoyed a good breakfast there with a polite and friendly waiter (brought dinner with me). Next day I drove a gorgeous country drive to Harpers Ferry National Park- maybe 40 minutes. It's also nearby to the lovely VA state Arboretum. Great value, thought that may change as hotel is new. One small bone to pick - the hotel supplies large bottles of toiletries attached to wall and the moisturizer one was empty. If you plan to use any of the toiletries I'd recommend looking at the side where there's a clear window to see if there's any in it when you enter the room.

Excellent property and the staff are amazing. Our room was clean, big, well stocked, and very comfortable. Our room had a beautiful view of the golf course. We used the pool and hot tub, both were great. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, food was very good, service excellent, and the prices were much lower than what we find at most hotel restaurants. The staff was truly amazing. We had a very challenging travel day, had some last minute changes and they were just so helpful and friendly.

Dulles airport has it's own taxi service called the Washington Flyer Taxi Service and they would be able to drive you anywhere you need to go for a fee. There are also many rental car services at Washington Dulles Airport.

Wired internet is only available in our meeting space. We currently offer fiber based internet at 40MB port speed with a 100MB access connection.
