Allahabad University PG Admission 2024: PGAT registration begins; apply till June 5

NEW DELHI: The University of Allahabad has commenced the registration for Post Graduate Admission Test (PGAT) 2024 for admission to various postgraduate programmes. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for Allahabad University PG admission 2024 on the official website, allduniv.ac.in.

The last date to apply for PGAT 2024 is June 5. The applicants shall be able to download the PGAT 2024 admit card one week prior to the exam. The entrance test will be conducted in the third week of June and PGAT 2024 results will be declared by the first week of July. The university informed that the counselling for different courses may begin from the third week of July.

“The applicants will be able to register through https://aupravesh2024.cbtexam.in or by clicking on the link PG Admission-2024 available on the university website (www.allduniv.ac.in),” read an official notice.

PGAT I will be held for 32 courses, along with LLB, MCom and LLM whereas PGAT II will be conducted for 24 courses including BEd, MEd, MBA (RD) and MBA in addition to the professional courses (MCA, MSc Food Technology, MVoc Media Studies and PGDCA) offered by Institute of Professional Studies.

The exam pattern and mode of PGAT 2024 will be same as last year. The entrance test for PGAT I, LLB, MCom and LLM will be conducted in both online and offline mode. The entrance test for PGAT-ll and IPS courses will be conducted in online mode only.

The entrance test will be conducted in hybrid mode at Prayagraj, Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh and New Delhi and in online mode only at Bhopal, Kolkata, Patna and Thiruvanthpuram.

The maximum marks in PGAT 2024-25 will be 300 for all courses. The question paper will consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
