Description

Founded in 1961, Circle in the Square Theatre School is the only accredited training conservatory associated with a Broadway theater. Committed to reaching a diverse body of students, the school is partnered with the Harlem School of the Arts and the Association of Hispanic Arts. It also offers tuition scholarships and works closely with students of all ages, from grades K to 6 as well as adults.

School/Groups

Each year Circle in the Square Theatre School
graduates are invited to perform for public school children (grades K-6).
Each school group receives study guides in advance of their attendance and
schools can book in-school, pre-performance workshops by a member of the
program. A question-and-answer session with the cast and students follows
every show. Circle in the Square Theatre School solicits recommendations
from school district arts coordinators and teachers so that it can provide
productions of interest that are directly connected to the curriculum.
