this is the fastest Witch Magic I've ever seen.

Edit: tried to do a Clean Install with no firewall block to see if fixed latest release connection problem. Not working. Keep the S1 app blocked from the firewall.

i think you have to a connection to the net to activate some add ons, i did block in defender firewall and it works ok, now to try 6.6.
Well it works if you block with a firewall, cant find lead architect to dl

Latest releases didn't have the IRs of the new reverb OpenAir2. Does anyone know how or where to find them?

SOLVED: I did a clean uninstall with Revo. There must have been some files left over. Be mindful.

Anyone else getting "Invalid Licence File"

I have never had this issue before with R2R S1 installs. Any ideas?

UPDATE:

Using Revo removed S1 from my firewall block list. Added S1 exe to firewall block list again and it works.

I did a complete clean uninstall with Revo. Maybe if you just install over the top you will be fine. It looks like other people have done that and had no issues.

Scaler 2 is not at all happy in this version of Studio One but it's nothing to do with the crack. I tried it in the legit trial version and it has problems there too. It half works but you can't get to the settings page or the sync tab and if you change instruments the screen changes but the instrument sound does not. It was fine in 6.5 so i think it's something Presonus have broken.

I loaded old projects with Scaler 2 , no problems at all.

That's weird. I've found a couple of other people reporting the same stuff as me with the legit licence but also a couple of others who say it is fine. Did you use VST2 or VST3?

Thanks. From posts on the Scaler forum it looks like 2.7 works fine but 2.8 does not. It also seems that 2.8 works in previous Studio One versions. So it's a joint cock up!

Thanks for the share. Working fine here on Win11 but had to uninstall previous version with Revo for this version to work. And had to block in firewall too. Follow the instructions provided.

I didnt need to use keygen having used previous version, just removed old version, installed 6.6, copied the runtime.dll and added a firewall rule.

im not sure i like the direction Studio One is taking though, Fender is starting to show. Kind of glad i moved to Bitwig last year but there is still so much good to take from Studio One.

On Win 10 I just installed right over the prior release, added the .dll file, and it seems to be working fine with the previous license intact. There doesn't seem to be any new add-ons with this version that require generating a new license.

Generally I try to follow R2R's instructions, but with S1 it can be pretty time-consuming so I always try going right over the old one first. So far, I'm lucky its working. For those having a problem, I'm guessing you may not have S1 properly firewalled or else an off-line machine. Having these entries in your host file may help you as well:
