Max Bygraves made his first appearance at the London Palladium in 1951 and the following year was one of the first artists to appear on the newly created British Singles Chart, reaching #6 with Cowpuncher's Cantata. Over the next four decades he became something of an industry establishment, helped by hosting television series such as Family Fortunes and regular appearances on the single and album charts. This compilation focuses on his hits and better known tracks from the 1950s and originally appeared in 1974.
