Fun game but not for $29.99 in app purchase!
I am playing this on the Amazon Fire HD 10. I started playing this game to play against my wife and it is a lot of fun except for the advertisement after each play, that is really annoying making this my first 3 star review on anything. It is annoying enough to either stop playing the game or pay to get rid of them. Which brings me to my next issue with the game. $9.99 is a lot to pay for a game but I am willing to pay it for this game. The problem that I am having when I click on the advertised $9.99 in app purchase it takes me to a screen to buy it for $29.99. Is this a bug or some sort of bait-n-switch price scam? At this point, and at that cost, I will probably finish the game with my wife and then remove the game from my device unless this is resolved. I will also be emailing the developer of the game.

The great part is you can choose your game mates no matter the distance of the game pals. All is needed is a digital device,selecting friends that love a brain challenge and is as simple as downloading the game. It's as if your best game mates are right there with you. The words are created by lettered tiles and one word builds off the other played by selected game pals. The laughter and feeling of accomplishment is real. The greatest part of the game is you can link in your friends to make the game a true "fun game with friends". The satisfaction in challenging you brain and laughing out loud with selected friends is too great to resist. The tutorial is easy to follow. Select your friend to challenge and begin the puzzle. Nothing makes more sense than having a great laugh while expanding your brain and laughing out loud. It's as if your game mates are right there with you. Grab a pal and download this delightfully challenging word game puzzle. Hints and dictionary help is within the game. Follow the hints. Enjoy.!!!

Great fun! I'm playing on-line with my son, and solo playing with the program
My only complaint is that the Solo Player does not play fair. There is an internal dictionary, which is supposed to rule on the legitimacy of a submitted word, and it rules strictly on words I try to play with the message "this word is unacceptable" However, the Solo Player will play a bulls*** word and when I check the dictionary, the message appears "this word is acceptable with Words with Friends" although there is no dictionary definition at this time." So, instead of passing, as I must do if I can't form a word, the program throws a bunch of letters together which have some resemblance to a real word and asks me to suck it up and accept its word. In more than a dozen games I have received the acceptable message of a non dictionary word only twice.
On the bright side. I've learned many words for foreign coins and the names of the letters of many foreign alphabets.
Be careful! It can be both frustrating and addicting.

I love Words With Friends because I have always liked Scrabble (the original,not on a computer) and find this to be a challenging and fun game along the same lines as Scrabble to p!ay. This game constantly teaches you new words if you pay attention and look up in the dictionary each word that you see, that you don't recognize or know it's meaning. A great fan of this game when old format but the enhancements of this current version make the game just as good. I love the tile bag along with the ability to choose your preferred version of (English) and some other languages. Don't like having to hit the pop up when the word is unacceptable, why cannot you just hit the back button? I love the solo game now incorporated into this version, I suggested this when reviewing previous game version. Like the chat facility and the fact you can delete old messages. All in all my most used game, and my favourite. Thanks Zynga.
