Marist School Reviews
Rating 3.99 out of 5 151 reviews
My high school was a college preparatory high school so I felt prepared. Marist excels in both academics and athletics. I've had the honor to win academic awards such as Dean's List and athletic awards such as State Champions for Varsity tennis. Overall, I've had a great experience at Marist. The only negative I've noticed here at Marist is our over-competitiveness. There have been mental issues at Marist because of it, but our counselors are working hard to be there for us.
Marist School focuses on fostering a strong and supportive community in academics, extracurricular activities, and student life. The Catholic environment provides a place to talk about values related to the Church but not everyone is Catholic.
Best part is the schools effort to promote a more inclusive environment. Everyone is very friendly and always willing to help. Teachers always do their best to understand situations. Worst part is the privilege very present among the students, leading to a more shut off environment for poc.
