I have live here over 5 years and thus once bustling and vibrant metropolis is a mere shadow of what it used to be.
So many boarded up businesses, all promising something new and exciting but in reality delivering same old.
Hooters has been coming for around 18 months now. It looks nowhere near. i Hop under construction for over 2 years, no progress at all.
Businesses open and close at an alarming rate no doubt because of the sheer greed of Megaworld and their insistance on a bigger and bigger slice of the profit while raising taxes and rent every year.
Long established places like Stackers, Dells, Distillery, Jacks Loft, are all finished and even chains like TGI Friday and Agave are struggling to stay afloat.
The bars are all pretty much the same, but not recommended if you want a conversation as all compete with each other to play their music the loudest. Graffitti usually wins with music so loud it hurts your ears, but if that is your thing go for it.
The Malls are suffering the same way, loads of empty boarded up shops and the same tired displays.
The open mall is a disgrace. It is cracked and broken and becomes like a giant swimming pool when it rains. Megaworld are just ignoring it as they race to build more and more condo towers which like the others will be largely unoccupied. And of course there are the 20 million Megaworld leafletters to negotiate. My tip take a leaflet from the first and use it as a fan so the others can see it. That is your only chance of being left alone.
All in all, Eastwood is worth a visit if you are looking for a couple of hours worth of shopping and wandering, and there are some great places to eat, but it is sadly lacking in investment and care from its owners.

Ideally, all of Manila should look and be as organized as Eastwood City. But if it were, Eastwood City would lose its appeal. Eastwood City offers an atmosphere where you can forget you're actually in Metro Manila. :).

The city within a city is a growing trend in most major cities of world like CityCenter Las Vegas in the United States; Clarke Quay in Singapore, The Bund in China, Roppongi Hills in Japan, Dubai Festival City in the UAE and others.
The Philippines specifically the Metro Manila areahas its own fair share of cities within cities like Rockwell Center, Araneta Center, Ayala Center, the Bonifacio Global City and of course Eastwood City.
Eastwood City offers a diverse attractions from All Fresco style dining, pubs, fine dining, clubs, open air shopping, cafes, air-conditioned mall, cinemas, bowling alley, etc.
The Eastwood City complex also boast of a hotel, condominiums, office buildings and others.

I had the chance to come several times to Eastwood City and coming here had always been an experience. There are kids' activities that children would enjoy, just like bungee jumping and gaming. Choose from the various specialty restaurants and you may even indulge in some buffet offerings at reasonable price. You may opt to go shopping in their malls and find some bargains.

Development in this area has been enormous and fantastic. Once a sleepy place suddenly became a hang out for late night excitement. You can see the transformation of the place as soon as the daylight fades....and suddenly Eastwood becomes lively and crowded. The tall buildings, hotel, mall, condominiums, residential and office buildings makes it a complete destination for all. Don't get the impression that its only for night activity as it is great to be in the malls and restaurants in the area during the day.

Eastwood is a very nice place for entertainment, asian foods dining, shopping and relaxation with your friends. There is a live band where you can make request of your favorite song, and they will glady play it for you.

Eastwood City's quite small compared to BGC or Makati, but it packs a punch! Check out the Cybermall for cheap fastfood joints and great deals on gadgets. Some of the best restaurants and bars in Quezon City can also be found here. A Greek taverna, a rockabilly diner, and one of the best places to get xiao long bao are within 50 meters of each other.
Most restaurants and bars close up late, and there's always a restaurant open at anytime of the day (Something Fishy's awesome breakfast buffet comes to mind). There's also a weekend gourmet market in Eastwood Mall where you can get homemade pasta sauces, unique macarons, and regional delicacies, among others.
No need to go to Serendra or Greenbelt; Eastwood also has a great selection of local and foreign fashion labels lined up at Citywalk and Eastwood Mall. There's a MAC shop, Beauty Bar, a Face Shop, and Watson's for beauty at every budget. Scribe Writing Essentials, a specialty stationery store, calls Eastwood Mall home. ATMs are ubiquitous; it's a pretty awesome place to blow your salary.
And it's easy to flag down taxis here. +1 star. :)

I like the fact that it's a beautiful and safe community-- that there are malls and attractions everywhere I look. That there's a fair share of interesting shops and yummy restaurants. That they have something for the weekend market, located inside the mall. That dogs are allowed and not only that, dogs are welcome.
My dog and I are fans of Eastwood.

Very unfriendly to smokers.
Almost impossible to find any smoking areas, absolute discrimination against a perfectly legal use of tobacco due to over-the-top restrictions.

I suggest you go to Wilcon Depot or Home Depot for home fixtures and for furnitures you can go to SM Mega Mall or there are good second hand or slightly used furnitures at HMR. Tiendesitas which is mmore than a kilometer away from Eastwood is also a place where you can find furnitures

Eastwood Citywalk 1 looks like a good spot but if a two-hour travel is okay with you guys I suggest The Greenery in Bulacan. Feel the embrace of nature and it is affordable as well.

HI,
There are lots of residential places in and around eastwood. Outside eastwood there is Circulo Verde and Novo City. With in eastwood there is Eastwood Condo, East La Grand, The Grand Eastwood Pallazo and Eastwood Parkview. I suggest before coming to Eastwood you contact them for the availability of the place.
Hope this could help...

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. You can ask Eastwood Concierge for the name of the person. Many thanks! Goodluck!
