Marriott Vacation Club, South Beach, has earned the status as one of Ocean Drive's most iconic properties offering 49 studios and suites. Beautiful landscapes are easily discovered from our vacation rentals within easy walking distance to the best of South Beach in Miami Beach, Florida. Guests will be immersed in the center of the action of South Beach, from the restaurants and galleries of Lincoln Road to the boutique shops and nightclubs of Collins and Washington Avenues to the turquoise waters of Miami Beach.

My family had a great one night stay at the Marriott Vacation Club Pulse, South Beach. Centrally situated on Ocean Drive, the location is right in the middle of all the South Beach action. The room was clean, and sanitizer is everywhere throughout the hotel, which was awesome! Room selection does come into play as the rooms that are not facing Ocean Drive are situated in the alley that houses the dumpsters for all the restaurants up and down the block. I'm told that the Ocean Drive facing rooms are mostly only available to MVC members; so if you're not a member its likely that you will in an alley room like we were. Since we were on the second floor and NOT facing Ocean Drive, we unfortunately had the smells from the restaurants (and maybe even the dumpters) filling the room. I would recommend bringing along some air freshener just in case you need it as the hotel does not have any on hand to provide should you also experience this. That was literally the only thing negative about our time at MVC Pulse South Beach. While they don't have a section of the beach they are only steps away from the beach and equip each room with a trolley that you can easily wheel to the beach which includes at least two beach chairs, beach towels, an umbrella and even a cooler. They hit it out of the park with this amenity!

If you want a relaxing beach/pool vacation this is NOT the place to go. Extremely disappointed in @MarriottVacClub I am an owner and when I use my points it is to go on a wonderful beach vacation. If this is what you are looking for do NOT book this place and I will tell you why. First and most important it is not on the beach, it is a little more than just walking across the street. I guess I could be ok with that if when you got to the beach they had there own section like other hotels(The Betsy) with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Which are always free when you stay at a hotel or MVC. They do NOT have lounge chairs or umbrellas. They give you in your room a drug store beach chair with back pack straps on it. You feel like you are a local or on a camping trip. Going to the beach with your chair on your back, finding a spot among the locals with no towel service or food service is NOT in any way a 4-5 Star property. There is NO POOL! NO Fitness center to work out! They tell you, that you can pay $30 a day to go to a gym! Our room overlooked a garbage dumpster. I spent 7,000 points for a relaxing Christmas vacation, and I felt like I was at a city motel. This property should really be a Marriott Courtyard then I would understand why it is a no frills property, but to call themselves a Marriott Vacation Club they should be ashamed of themselves!!! MVC is in South Beach where they could have made an award winning property on the beach .What they should do if they were smart is make the Stanton Marriott which is on the beach an MVC, and make the Pulse a Marriott Courtyard Hotel. To make the most of our very upsetting beach vacation, we called the Stanton Marriott and was lucky enough t get a room there. We left all of our luggage at the Pulse packed a small suitcase and checked into the Stanton. I ended up spending double costing a fortune since I now had 2 hotels, but I really needed a relaxing non stressful vacation & unfortunately The Pulse is a BIG LOSER

We (a couple) stayed here for two nights prior to our cruise. We loved our stay, and would highly recommend it.
Firstly, we were greeted with a boozy drink upon arrival followed by a swift and friendly check-in. Our room, an Ocean Drive facing accommodation, was clean with a bright modern finish, featuring a high very comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, and beach cart - a brilliant item for any guests wanting to spend the day on the beach.
The view from the room was perfect for anybody wanting to watch the action on Ocean Drive.
Below the hotel is a lively bar and restaurant; however, at no point did we experience any noise or disruption in our room despite being on a lower floor.
The hotel also features a rooftop terrace, which we discovered far too late into our stay. It would have been a great place to spend an evening watching the sunset.

Jennifer Cachon and Kevin were so amazing and made my birthday weekend special; she was extremely thoughtful and gave me lots of goodies for my birthday and bottle of Rose she also made sure my food delivery was picked up in the lobby for me. I had questions about my rate and she explained everything to me and made me feel so welcomed she also offered a walking tour around the city which was so fun! Kevin was warm and funny he helped me with my bags every time I saw him. I was looking forward to seeing him for my complimentary margarita every night! They are the best and made this getaway amazing for me.
Best location just close enough to the madness but a nice distance away. Right on ocean drive and entrance to the beach on 14th street.
I don’t have any complaints other than it’s VERY loud in the mornings the walls r pretty thin, so beware after a night of fun if ur trying to sleep in 😀 I slept in my headphones.

Right on the beach - in the middle of all the exciting nightlife & restaurants! You can walk to so many places! The employees at this hotel are so nice & friendly & helpful! They have a great happy hour every day up on the rooftop! My favorite place in the hotel! Got some great sunrise pictures up there! They have these great carts for you to take to the beach! The cart holds 2 beach chairs, an umbrella & 4 beach towels. Also insulated compartments to take food & drinks. A pocket for sunscreen & whatever else you want to take to the beach! So clever! On Friday evening they had a fun-filled happy hour with food, a band & a beautiful dancer who taught us how to do some Cuban /Latino dances! One of the employees made delicious Mohito’s & one of the employees danced! What a fun event!! We had a wonderful stay!

I don't leave reviews for hotels often, but I felt the need to point out how great the staff were at this location. They really made me feel at home as soon as I walked in the doors. The welcome margaritat they had sure helped! Great location of the hotel. Please note that Ocean Drive is closed to cars, so valet and luggage services are about a block away, and they do a great job of communicating these options to you before hand. Room was very great, and loved every minute of my stay.

We worried about staying here due to the many recent reports of problems in the area. However during our visit in Mid May all we felt was the very palpable energy of the area. We parked in the city parking a block and a half away and even late at night didn't find any reason for concern with the walk back and forth.
The hotel itself is beautiful. It is a city location, vacation club facility and any one staying here should understand it is not a typical marriott hotel. We felt it was perfect for the area. The staff were great and professional. Our room was much larger than I had anticipated. We had a small balcony with a partial view of the ocean. The roof top deck was also a great place to spend some quiet time. We had beach chairs and umbrella in our room and it was great to walk across the street to the beach. Bikes (a great way to get around the area) were also available, though we didn't take advantage of them.

Room was spacious, a queen bed studio, nice to have a settee to sit on in the room. Some wear and tear but not major, carpets clean walls clean bathroom largely modern. A great location for exploring and a decent price for the location. It is a very expensive area for everything and lots of service charge added to bills. Staff here were very helpful. Drop off is just around the corner and 2 minute walk to the front desk. Front porch cafe nearby is good for breakfast and the Yard House on Lennox…runs a great happy hour 3-6 for cheap eats and drinks, 20 minute walk or $7 Uber to me for the return to the hotel. I’d recommend this if your here for a couple of nights as opposed to an extended stay.

The morning we were scheduled to check out, we asked the concierge to let us stay 15 minutes past 11 o’clock, that is the regular check out time, because we had a last minute complication. She said that there was no problem and that we could stay in the room until 11:30. At 10:57 the phone rings and someone from reception demands that we leave the room immediately. I explained that my daughter was in the shower and she needed at least 5 minutes to rinse her hair. The answer was “No, you have to leave this minute. We are members of Marriott Vacation Club and are usually treated with special consideration but this time they were extremely rude. The hotel is at a good location but the room was ugly, with no view, no terrace and the temperature of the shower could not be regulated. It was either very hot or cold.

This was such a charming hotel. The restaurant downstairs had good food. They have coffee tasting in the afternoon and we got to chat with some of the staff. They were all nice. They had full size washers and dryers and you can get free laundry kit from the desk. We loved the size of the room too. It was spacious and the deck overlooking the patio was not bad.
