    Lovely beach and views.

Free parking in the large lots along Mission Blvd near Belmont Park...gets pretty busy though. We went on a Saturday morning around 11am and we ended up getting one of the last few spots on the far end of the second parking lot...10-minute walk to the main Boardwalk area.

Boardwalk has a few shops in a specific area...but otherwise lots of beach and nice views.

Arrived at children's pool beach to see the seals. It was about 5:30 when I arrived and when we got there, there were about 20 seals sleeping on the beach. They were so cute, and then some awful human being snuck up on them from the rocks and scared them and they all slid into the water. The beach is closed this time of year because it is pupping season, and they don't want the seals to be bothered. I am lucky I got there when I did because if I had arrived just 5 minutes later, they would have been gone.

Cute location to visit at sunset next to the midway. Not the most amazing quality of sculpture or statue, but still worth the walk up to see.

Went with my daughter. It was pretty fun. Kinda pricey though. $50+ for an adult and student? I guess it was free parking so that helped. I liked the commercial airlines memorabilia and the aviation wings collection. Fun displays. Our favorite was the theatre that had the 3D movies with seat movement. Pretty cool.
We spent about 1.5 hours there, I think that was enough. Not overly crowded as it was supposed to rain but I would hate to see it on a weekend. The replica planes outside were also cool.
Would I come back? I probably would with grandkids as there are lots to look at.

Not too bad selections and variety for shopping. Brands like Puma, Nautica, Sketchers etc. When we were there, it was President's day big sale weekend hence many shops offer 50-80% discount so overall quite a good deal!

    Washroom cleanliness well-maintained.

There are several food trucks outside so some budget eats are available.

Moreover, from the car park you can actually see the other side of the country - it is a Mexico-US border!

Couldn’t really see the caves from the top of the cliff. Needed to get at an angle to see them. It would be better from the water. The bird life was interesting as were the seals.

In addition to enjoying the gorgeous coastal scenery and sea cliffs, the tide pools at Cabrillo National Monument were well worth the price of entry. We saw dozens of beautiful bright green sea anemone as well as many sea snails and really interesting and unique sea shells. Our 10 year old daughter had such a great day at the tide pools with her friends, and this makes for a fun and inexpensive experience in the San Diego area.

Beautiful beach. It's excellent for a relaxed Sunday hike. Start at the Blacks Beach Trailhead near UCSD and walk down the canyon to the beach. Then walk north all the way to Torrey Pines SB and/or Torrey Pines SNR. Along the way will see beautiful cliffs, rocks on the beach and many birds. Sometimes you will see dolphins. At the start and end of the hike you will see many other people, but in the middle of the hike the beach is very quiet (not deserted, you will see other people hiking). At the end of the hike you can take the bus (101 Breeze) back to your car. You can park your car at either end of the hike (Torrey Pines SB or La Jolla Shores Drive at the southern end). Sometimes you have to wait a bit, but I have always found free parking. I have done this hike many times in the last 15 years, but I still love doing it.

I like this center. A lot of stores of several brands and most of the franchises that you are looking for in a place like this. Very clean spaces and a mix of stores for all purposes.

Very quiet and peaceful place to stay away from the action but close to the airport. Bay Club Marina Hotel is a great option with a restaurant, views and a nice pool. Just be aware of it is a foggy morning you will hear boat foghorns at 6a.m.

As usual it’s the time of the year where people with similar interests come together to celebrate Jack Kirby, Stan Lee and all those other men and women involved in comics

I know nothing about model railways but a friend wanted to go. I had a hard time keeping up with him on the walk in!
Once inside I thought “ok this is cool,” thinking I could see it all from one spot. How wrong I was. This place is massive. It just keeps going.
I started looking at details and saw details within details, and found myself mesmerised with the craftsmanship and effort that’s gone into these displays. Right down to every fence post and the escapee chickens… it was incredible.
I love how you get small glimpses of what’s behind the scenes and how they build the landscapes and electrics.
If you go, don’t rush. Pick a small section when you walk in and look really closely at the detail. It’s so much more than just a big train set 👍

Great theater that often gets shows right before they head to Broadway. Great opportunity to see them without having to go to NYC! Very friendly staff, too!

We attended for the SECOND YEAR IN A ROW, the La Jolla Concours d'Elegance!!! It was wonderful from start to finish!!!

We started off again with breakfast at Harry's Coffee Shop, but this time we took a LYFT, there and back. It was much better than trying to find a valet stand close to the entrance!!!

I walked 3/4 of a mile, seeing all sorts of historic, old valuable automobiles!!! Rolls Royces, Bentleys, Ferraris, Mercedes AND MORE.

    EVEN A CLASSIC BRONCO!!!

It was a cool, OVERCAST DAY. We got a brief air show, including a COAST GUARD HELICOPTER. We even saw a yacht in the ocean.

When we left, I needed the assistance of a GOLF CART to get to the top of the hill, and I asked a certain female in charge at the front. SHE TOOK MATTERS IN HAND, and walking up and down found one for me.

    THIS WAS A GODSEND!!!

For someone who has a disability and a walker, AND MORE GOING ON!!!
