Jeff Lynne 2024 Tour Announcement – The Over and Out Tour Schedule
Jeff Lynne and his Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) are gearing up for their farewell tour this fall! The group will kick off on August 24th in Palm Desert, CA, continuing through October 26th with two nights in Los Angeles, CA.
This is a bittersweet occasion for Jeff Lynne’s ELO fans, many of whom have waited five years (when they last toured) to witness their grand return to the stage. 2019 was also the year they released their fourteenth album, From Out of Nowhere, exhibiting their cosmic combination of rock, pop, and classical music for an out-of-this-world sound. But enough with the space puns and into more serious territory, because we can’t ignore the fact that this is their farewell tour.
How will we live without the spectacular light shows and galactic musical fusions that come with Jeff Lynne’s ELO, among other things? The band, which has maintained global stardom since the 1970s with their lush, orchestral arrangements and intricate harmonies, has an instrumental approach that no other artist can compete with. Songs like “Mr. Blue Sky,” “Evil Woman,” and “Livin’ Thing” made them pioneers in the production of rock-meets-classical music, and this is something that will never change.
Over five decades and counting, Jeff Lynne’s ELO has sold over 50 million records worldwide, been inducted into the Rock and Roll and Songwriters’ Hall of Fame, respectively, and so much more. They promise to pay tribute to their entire catalog, and famously captivating live shows, on the Over and Out tour as the prepare to race off into the solar system once again. And this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for old and new fans to see them off in style.
Tickets for the Over and Out tour are still available, but they’re going quickly! Don’t miss your chance to see Jeff Lynne’s ELO for the very last time in the following cities:
