Excellent food and service

October 2022 Huge drink and food menu in a nice atmosphere with good service. The meatloaf stuffed with mashed potatoes was incredible, I had to take half of it home. The mac-n-cheese with bacon and Jameson whiskey was delicious and very filling. The waiter was wonderful and attentive, I didn’t have to ask for anything and our food came out hot and fast. The pumpkin cheesecake to finish off the meal was delightful. Just a wonderful experience all around.

Fun place to go for dinner!

Stopped for dinner before going to a show at the American Music Theater. Dinner was excellent and offered large selection of beers. Service was excellent! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Great evening out at one of our favorite places for a casual night out!

We had a wonderful evening out on their patio. We have not been here since 2021, because of bad weather on the weekends and COVID restrictions which severely was responsible for lack of staffing, supply chain difficulties and IMO patrons who were too terrified to leave home to have some much needed contact in a public location. Funck's is privately held and my Husband have both wanted to support small businesses as much as possible. We both truly loved our meals, he had the brisket melt sandwich and I ordered the seafood tacos. Both of us really enjoyed the food, the prices, the fabulous weather and also, Cheyenne, our wonderful server. We both really missed Funck's and are certainly glad that almost nothing has changed since our last visit. Weather permitting we look forward to our next visit. The patio is awesome and the patrons run the age range from babies to boomers.

Nothing impressive but the beer selection

The only worthwhile thing about this place is the beer selection; I think it was 115 beers on tap, which is quite remarkable. Nothing else is worthwhile. The atmosphere is sterile and corporate, deserted on a Sunday evening at dinnertime. After trying the food, I can see why. I had the Jameson's Whiskey Mac and Cheese, and it tasted exactly like Kraft Mac and Cheese made with American cheese. No flavor of the Jameson's, no tang of the gouda cheese; instead just what you might make at home with American. The rest of my party said their food was unimpressive also. No reason to go here and pay the $60 check. Might as well stay home and have Kraft from the box for less money.

We have been here before and it is not our favorite place. We had reservations at 6PM for one of their outdoor igloos. When we arrived we were told they had us for indoor, and our table was just being cleaned off. After we made a fuss they did comp our appetizers. 25 minutes later when I went to the hostess to see when we would be seated, I was told they were just cleaning our table. After ordering our meal (separate checks) our appetizers took 25 minutes for two of them and another 10 minutes for the third. meanwhile we found a shard of glass on the one water glass. Almost immediately after the last appetizer came out, our meals came. My planked salmon was dry and tasteless. And they served cocktail sauce with it. The place was so noisy, I could not hear the waitress right beside me. For some reason we changed waitresses in the middle of our meal.

Nice choice for a brew pub

I’m surprised this restaurant didn’t get a higher rating. I didn’t read the other reviews, but the food was excellent and the beer choices were plentiful. Lauren did a great job with us. All of this being written, we came mid-afternoon. We were celebrating our anniversary and had just gone on a nice trail bike ride. I was a little skeptical about finding something in the middle of Lancaster County farmland, but we are very pleased that we stopped here.

Ok but lots of beer

Good service but short staffed. Philly cheesesteaks was goos as was the pork chop. Fish was only so so but fries were good. Lots of beet choices

My mom and I traveled to Lancaster from NJ and we were finding places to eat. So we came across this when getting DUnkin (they’re right across from eachother) The food was fantastic. Inside is very nice and clean, can eat outdoors, they take reservations. Highly recommend.

Good Food, Good Drinks. What Else Can You Ask For?

I come here quite often and I am always leaving satisfied with my experience. The staff are always so nice and the drinks are really good. For all of my fellow beer drinkers , they have an entire page dedicated to all different types of beer. Anyone who drinks cocktails, you aren't left out. The have a lot of creative and seasonally derived dinks for you. The mules they make, especially, are so refreshing. I recommend the Kentucky Mule if you like bourbon. Their menu has many options but I recommend anything with brisket on it. Recently I had their brisket melt and it was one of the best things I've had here. If you are lucky enough to get a opportunity to get a table on the patio, I would take it. I always try to get a table next to the fireplace. They will never disappoint.

Great family resturant

Stopped here for dinner with my family (five in total). Our server was Sarah J. Sarah was an excellent server. Very attentive and funny. We ordered drinks, a Kentucky Mule, a stout, and a Sangria flight. The Mule and beer were very good. Out of the four samples of Sangria, only one was decent (Mango). Our food was delicious. The fish tacos were excellent, as was the special chicken and pork loin sandwich and the california burger (with chicken) and sweet potatoes fries. We chose to sit inside but the large patio looked hopping and fun. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Food was good, loved the meatloaf, can't wait to try the tacos, they should offer a taco sampler, one fish, one seafood and one bang bang. Awesome bartender and fabulous cocktail. Large selection of draft beers, I'm going back on Sunday to try out the brunch out.

Give it a Try!

The food was very good, crab dip especially. The restaurant is nice and clean and gives you a good, welcoming feeling when you are there. We visited August 14, 2021 and our server, Aaron D was fantastic. We were just visiting the area, but I really wish we lived closer and could and would return frequently.

Some Surprise and Some Disgust

I was a little afraid after reading some reviews that the restaurant does not take covid protocol seriously. However, I was pleasantly surprised that most patrons and workers had masks on the right way and the tables were spread out. I was disappointed by the champagne flute small size of my cocktail and it cost about 9.00. My food was okay (tomato bisque and pretzel). I think the pretzel could be saltier and the soup was subpar. My main issue of disgust was finding an ice cube with something black in it. I immediately took it out and buried it in a napkin and tried to forget about it. Disgusting!! I hope they clean their ice machines.
