And just like that, HBO's Max's Sex and the City revival ends its first season.

The show depicts Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes, and Charlotte York as women in their 50s who are still close friends and still living in New York City. New cast additions reflect the diversity of the city, and the plot hits on real-world events (including the pandemic).

"I think that Cynthia, Kristin, and I are all excited about the time that has passed," star Sarah Jessica Parker told Vanity Fair. "You know, who are they in this world now? Have they adapted? What part have they played? Where have they fallen short as women, as friends, and how are they finding their way?"

Here's what to expect as the season comes to an end.

The finale will wrap up a lot of big questions.

Since the revival began, the lives of all three of our favorite NYC women have dramatically changed. Carrie has taken big strides in her journey of healing from Big's death, including moving into a new apartment and dipping her toe into dating. Miranda has blown up her life with Steve and is all-in on her new partner, comedian Che. And Charlotte has come to understand both of her children better after her second child, Rock, came out as nonbinary.

The finale shows the trio making some important decisions. Carrie has to decide where to scatter Big's ashes, which have been sitting in her closet for the entire season. Miranda has an internship opportunity that might take her away, right after taking a big step with Che. And Charlotte is working to ensure Rock's gender-neutral B-Mitzvah runs smoothly.
