How to restore the factory default settings

If your mobile phone is slow or in any other way doesn't work or respond as well as it should, it may help to restore the factory default settings. This deletes all configurations you've made in your mobile phone.
    1.
    Find " Security Wipe"

    • Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your mobile phone.
    • Press Settings.
    • Press Security and Privacy.
    • Press Security Wipe.

    2.
    Restore the factory default settings

    • Press the text input field and key in blackberry
    • Press Delete Data.
    • Wait a moment while the factory default settings are restored.
    • Follow the instructions on the display to set up your mobile phone and prepare it for use.

    1) with the new security features, a wipe or reload of the OS will not remove the need to logon using the proper BBID. That is a differnet issue.

    2) You can't access the phone? And you can't connect it to a computer?
Use an Autoloader to reloaded your OS http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...loader-927076/
Download an Autoloader for your Z3 http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...rchive-943672/
Run the Autoloader file on a computer. Once the Command Promt pops up, plug the phone in with a USB cable, and then turn it on. The Autoloader should catch the Z3 as it tries to boot and will reload the OS back to factory settings.

Note: problems connecting to a computer can sometimes be solved by installing the latest version of BLEND (which usually includes LINK and DRIVERS).
