We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Account Clerk to join our finance team.
job responsibilities:
1. Data Entry and Record Keeping
-Maintain accurate and updated financial records.
-Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments.
2. Accounts Payable and Receivable
-Manage accounts payable by processing supplier invoices, verifying amounts, and ensuring timely payments.
-Handle accounts receivable by generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
3. Reconciliation
-Perform bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
-Reconcile supplier statements with company records to resolve discrepancies.
-Financial Reporting
4. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
-Generate and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
5. -Provide administrative support to accountants and other financial staff.
-Administrative Tasks
6. Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
-Handle correspondence related to financial matters.
-Compliance and Procedures
7. Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
-Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems and processes.

8. Handles creditors queries on any matter pertaining to their accounts
Requirement:
-Diploma in Accounting / Finance / Banking / Business Administration or any other related qualification.
-Able to converse in English/Bahasa Melayu
-Friendly and outgoing personality
-Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (ability to create and use spreadsheets, basic formulas).
-Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
