Hearts beat loud

Happened to watch this movie the other day. It’s streaming on Peacock and has Toni Collette and Nick Offerman. Nick plays a record store owner music snob Brooklyn aging hipster and in one of the first scenes, Hold On Magnolia is playing in his store and he talks to Toni Collette’s character about what a genius Jason was and it’s such a lovely representation of his music. The movie is kind of meh and came out in 2018 so whatever. But it was so great to finally hear his music in something mainstream, and have it treated with such reverence. Has anyone else seen it? I feel like the scene was in the first 15 minutes so if you are interested and have Peacock, check it out. The actor who plays Nick’s daughter is pretty legit musically, even though the music featured is pretty pedestrian.
