Reporting Student Absences ONLINE!

NEW Digital method for reporting student absences!
Communication between student's home and our school remains highly crucial to student success.
We are excited to announce the launch of a new method to report student absences to our school!

When a student is out, the school office should be notified by the parent or guardian.
The new and preferred method of contact is via submission of a Report of Absence Form found online.

Links to the report form have been made available from our homepage (www.hilohigh.org) under the following sections:
1 - Parents and Students
2 - SY 22-23
3 - LINKS (near the bottom of the homepage)

Direct link: www.hilohigh.org/absence

The school office staff will continue to take phone calls at (808)313-5509, between the hours of 7:45am and 4:00pm.  However, the online version is available to parents/guardians at any time.

Whether or not the school is notified via a phone call or digitally regarding student absences, automated phone messages will be sent by the end of the day to the parents/guardians, notifying them of the absence noted on their child's record.
