Unlike any other Grotto, Downtown offers a new look with a rustic, warehouse style interior and exposed brick. From small and shareable plates, fresh and local salads to refreshing and dynamic Italian cuisine, Grotto’s menu also offers a selection of curated craft beers, Grappa and wine—the ideal place for any occasion whether it’s lunch, happy hour, a business meeting or dinner in the city. Valet is available at the entrance of Grotto Downtown for $11 cash, or it can be added to your check inside. Self-parking is also available at the Avenida North parking garage, directly across the street on Rusk, where we will validate up to 3 hours for free.

    Overall experience was great our waiter. Alex was amazing although the younger host at the front door had a bit of an attitude beyond that we had an amazing time.

    Where should I begin. Service at snail pace, cocktail so full of ice watered down within minutes. I asked for salad with the dressing on the side and container was visibly chipped at the rim

    The first 30 minutes were disappointing with bad service, too noisy, etc.. it felt like a tourist trap.. after asking several times we were moved to a different place and things improved with much better service and quality food; still, that is definitely a Grotto location that we don’t plan on going back to

    Food was good, server was subpar. Seemed very bored and did not check in often. Ran out of water and he never noticed.

    Food was really good. Service was a little slow considering it wasn't crowded, maybe due to Mother's Day. Overall good experience though

    We were very surprised at the quality of the food. I know Landry’s owns The Grotto and it has been my experience when dining at a Landry-owned restaurant that the food quality is usually low. Landry’s has a rep for doing things on the cheap. Not so at The Grotto. We tried several different dishes - all were superb! We ate here twice - Saturday & Sunday. Service was excellent.
