The staff was friendly and nice.
Plus:
• Location right on the beach
• A nice promenade through the streets with a lot of bars, restaurants, game rooms that liven up the evening beautifully
• the food and beverage store immediately led the hotel
• Excellent coffee and cappuccino directly at the hotel
• Willing and friendly staff
• room cleaning and clean towels every day
Minus:
• Paid parking right next to the hotel €10/day with the price of accommodation for 5 nights for 3 people totaling €2250 via booking, and he wrote to us that we have parking included in the price, and I asked for it and informed the hotelier about it in writing in a note when booking, but they didn't know about it or pretended to.
• Breakfast extremely poor selection, every day the same, no choice of sandwiches, prosciutto, salami on three plates, you immediately received the following mix of plates when you sat down at the table
1st plate only two slices of ham, two slices of speck and two slices of salami and two slices of cheese
2nd plate, a bowl of mixed fruit and mixed small muesli and butter
3rd plate, a selection of sweet pastries
Of course, they will be happy to fill all the plates if you ask. It didn't suit us personally, we are used to continental breakfasts and we like to choose from a larger variety, here you could also choose, but extremely limited
...we were also in Caorle in 3* hotels in the old town, also directly on the beaches, and the selection and quality of tanajoks could not be compared.
•In the price we had one beach umbrella and two sunbeds, others for a fee
Next time we will definitely choose another place in Italy, as we love this countr, and if we should return to Lido, I wish not to this hotel. The effort is appreciated, but I think that the hotel industry and gastronomy and service have moved on, we have 2023 in this hotel, somehow it didn't work, it's hard to say why, I believe that they will take the review to heart and work on the shortcomings and better quality corresponding to 4*
We had a twin room which was fine if a little small - the bathroom was nicely furnished but too small - I've left with a couple of bruises from knocking my elbows on the wall! Our room was very well looked after by the cleaner - it was spotless. I think all rooms have a balcony and what they say is at least a 'partial sea view' - we could catch a tiny glimpse of the sea from our balcony on the side of the hotel only if we leant right out over the balcony and craned our necks.
Breakfast was adequate - breads, eggs, pastries, cake, cereals & a small selection of fruit.
Reception staff aren't particularly friendly, sighing if you request a lounger on the beach when you had the pool the day before. However the staff in the breakfast room are very friendly.
Overall this hotel is ok. I wouldn't stay here again but only because there are so many other hotels along this stretch in Jesolo.
Service is just excellent, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are weel, but haven't the best amenities! The worst thing is the absence of free wifi. You'll have to pay 4€ for accesing an hour to internet. Also the pool closes at 7 p.m which is also not great! Overall you'll have 2 chaise-longues and a umbrella for free on the private beach of hotel. Prices for rooms are acceptable, but i noted 3 stars for price, because of paid wifi. Overall I would recommend this hotel for sure!
The staff in this hotel cant do enough for you. always smiling every evening when we went down for our evening meal. the staff on reception are very helpful too, helped us find our way to venice on the bus.
Location-
This is perfectly situated right on the beach front. out the front of the hotel and you are on the strip, out the back and you are on the beach!
it was nice to actually have a private beach and not have to pay for a lounger. you get allocated a lounger and that is yours for the week.
Food-
The food at this hotel is really nice. we were half board and im a fussy eater(not one for fish dishes) and even though there was alot of fish, there was always something that i liked and cleared my plate every night!
the meal was a la carte. choice of 3 for all 4 courses and you could also help yourself to a salad bar to start. drinks are extra and a little bit expensive but its only what you expect at a hotel. We have a waitress called Alice most nights . real lovely polite girl welcoming everyone when they came in.
Pool
the pool was well maintained. i eat my breakfast outside most mornings and the guy cleaning the pool was always there making sure it was tidy. you can hear a pin drop at the pool. it was so relaxing.
Rooms-
well this is the only reason i gave this holiday a 4 and not a 5. Bed really hard and not enough pillows. 75% of these rooms would have a great view to be fair but i was in the 25% that didnt have a nice view. i overlooked the side of the kennedy hotel. I know you say you are not in the room very much, but thats not the case for me as my husband and i are T-total so love to spend the evening just chilling on the balcony watching films on our ipad with a cuppa! :-) view wasnt that good so didnt really feel i wanted to do that but hey.....it wasnt overlooking a car park or anything so maybe im being a bit fussy here
Venice
we went to venice for the day. picked the wrong day im afraid as it was thunder and lightening and raining real heavy all day which kind of spoilt it but it still looked real pretty so in the sun on a beautiful day, im sure its amazing and well worth a visit.
Lido Di Jesolo
well what can i say! we loved this place and will definately return within the next 3 years. we had a real good holiday. would i recommend this hotel? yes definately!!
(i was just unlucky with my room)
Tips for venice. No2 bus to the city centre (takes about 10 minutes) and then the No.5 to venice (30 minutes)
we wanted to go to Venice for the day and they told us how to get there which by the way is the number 2 bus from outside the hotel (10 minutes) to the city centre, and then the number 5 which is a bus and water bus(30 minutes)
Rooms are clean, firm bed, air-condition easy to control and quiet.
Only if you would be looking for a lively hotel bar in the evening this place should not be your first choice, however there are plenty of options in the area to spend your evening
