I recently watched The Godfather (1972) for the first time | ktt2
  • holy f*** i get the hype this felt like when i listened to LUV vs the world for the first time

marlon brando DEFINES what it means to be an actor, and there isn't a single actor in modern day who embodies a character as well as he does vito corelone no matter how many pictures of daniel day wearin a top hat you show me

and al pacino????? he is f***ing FLAWLESS as michael and portraying the torn noble character

james caan???? he's not just buddy's dad from elf (2004) big guy he is a PERFORMER

i could go all day glazing the whole cast but if you're someone like me who hasn't seen The Godfather before now do yourself a favour and DO IT!!!!!!!!

I aint even seen part 2 yet

don’t agree necessarily with the Brando DDL thing but yes, masterful film, Megalopolis out soon by the same director 🤌🏾

marlon brando won the oscar for his role as vito but he didnt show up for his award he sent (queen) sacheen littlefeather, a notable native american rights champion at the time, to accept his award and speak on behalf of native americans who were (and still are) marginalized in the country
