The Dark Matter Machine is located in the Dark Tech biome of the Tech World. It allows players to upgrade rainbow pets to dark matter pets. Their stats are 2⁶⁄₇ times the rainbow pets's stats, or 20 times the power of a normal pet.
It requires one to six pets, costing a given amount of Diamonds, based on the number of pets added. However, unlike the golden and rainbow machines, this machine always successfully upgrades. Instead, it takes time to make dark matter pets, which can be reduced by adding more pets into the machine. After completion, player can collect the pet in the "view" section of the machine. A total of six pets can be queued in the machine at a time.
Players can instantly collect the pet without waiting by spending Robux, as shown below. The Robux cost adjusts according to remaining time left, if a player used one pet and wishes to remove it after two days, i.e., it would cost 799 Robux. After two days, it changes to 399 robux, and when it reaches below 1 hour, it would cost 99 Robux.

Tips[]
- It is recommended to use 2 rainbow pets to the machine, as dark matter have 2⁶⁄₇ times the rainbow pets' stats. However, you would have to wait 3 days until it is finished.
- When grinding for the Dark Matter Mastery, it is recommended to put 6 pets in the machine to only wait 30 minutes.
Trivia[]
- In the Axolotl Ocean update, this machine, along with several other machines, were redesigned.
- Up to 6 pets can be made into dark matter at the same time, or 8 if you own the VIP gamepass.
- During the time before this was released, many Exclusive pets like the Storm Wolf, Mushroom King, Pterodactyl, and many more were leaked with a dark matter version, but they were never used.
- Strangely enough, the Dark Matter Machine does not decrease time and Robux cost when more pets are added. This is most likely a bug.
- This has since been fixed.
