纽卡斯尔大学（Newcastle University），简称“NCL”，是位于英国英格兰“八大核心城市”之一的纽卡斯尔市的一所公立综合类大学，是罗素大学集团 [11]、N8大学联盟 [12]、欧洲大学协会、英联邦大学协会、RENKEI的成员，是英国著名老牌大学。
学校的前身为1834年建立的医学与外科学院和1871年成立的阿姆斯特朗学院，后合并为杜伦联邦大学国王学院。在1963年根据国会法案，与杜伦大学分别成立各自独立的学校，正式全名为“泰恩河畔纽卡斯尔大学”（University of Newcastle upon Tyne）。

纽卡斯尔大学

纽卡斯尔是英国东北部的地区首府，也是当地文化，社交，体育，教育及商业活动的中心。纽城人口约300,000人，其中33,000是学生。市区距国际机场大约11公里，前往大学的公路交通也很方便，乘坐火车到伦敦市约需3小时。纽城的唐人街内有多家中式店铺及中餐厅。
Newcastle University Union Society纽卡斯尔大学校园内有注册和获准的就餐场所提供服务，包括Uni cafe、The time out food court、The stop gap shop和公共休息室。
翻新的健康及健身中心有用于锻炼心血管系统的最新器材。中心有走跑机、空气阻力自行车、划船器、攀岩及有氧运动器材。还有锻炼灵活性、腹部运动和热身/放松的大垫子活动区。全职合格的人员提供运动指导、生活方式管理建议和锻炼技巧。伸展及肌肉锻炼（Stretch & Tone）中心有若干固定不动的Reebok锻炼自行车、背部锻炼器材、两个划船器、腹部运动器和一些轻型举重器材。
Claremont运动中心由两个现代化的运动大厅和四个壁球场地构成，它是大学羽毛球、篮球、室内足球、无档板篮球、壁球、蹦床和排球的主要运动场地。学生会商店备有多种文具和报纸，以及大量的家庭实用用品。商店内还有一个小邮局。商店还有一个理发店、印刷所、旅行社和一个二手书店。
大学宿舍及学生宿舍可容纳学生5000名，海外留学生想入住，一般都可获得分配。学校附近有很多私人房屋出租，房租比市价低，学生如需要可向学校索取名单。校园附近有多家诊所（其中一家设在校园内）。学生辅导中心及国际留学生办事处的职员对解决海外学生所遇到的困难有丰富经验，并且组织周末迎新活动帮助学生尽快适应英国的生活。
