• Submit a completed application with the $75 application fee. We accept the Gill St. Bernard's online application or the  Standard Application Online (SAO).

• Schedule a student visit and parent/guardian interview. Upon receipt of the application, the Admission Office will contact you to arrange a student visit during a regular school day.
   
• Submit an official school transcript, if applicable. Items should be sent directly from the student’s current school after the completion of the first marking period.
   
• Provide a recommendation from a current teacher, if applicable. All recommendations should be sent directly from the teacher or the student’s current school after the completion of the first marking period.
   
• Complete the admission assessment. Lower School applicants are assessed one-to-one by a member of the Admission Team. Appointments will be scheduled after receipt of the application.
   
• The GSB Preschool Playdate is a required part of the preschool admission process. While students participate in the Playdate, parents are invited to have coffee with the Lower & Middle School Director Kyle Armstrong to learn more about our program. Once we receive a full application, families will be notified of their assigned playgroup date and time. We look forward to seeing you soon! Applications processed during the summer will require an assessment with an Admission associate.
   
• Rolling admission:  During the summer, we look forward to welcoming your family on campus for a tour. Once an application is processed, we will schedule an admission assessment with your child.

• Provide recommendations from two current teachers, one mathematics and one English/language arts. An additional recommendation from a person of your choice is optional. Items should be sent directly from the writer of the recommendation after the completion of the first marking period. Please note that if you're applying Early Action, your teacher recommendations may be used from the previous school year.
   
• Submit a graded writing assignment from the applicant’s current grade and school.
   
• Optional: Complete admission testing. Applicants can take the SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test) or the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam). Gill St. Bernard’s has migrated to a test-optional admission practice. Standardized test scores are not required and may be submitted at the applicant’s discretion.
