- I have a different mispress, side a is correct, side b is side c, side c is side b and side d is correct. I feel lucky to at least have all four sides of this album.

It is a very dynamic and good sounding record…Highly recomended!- It's a real bummer about this misprint. However, such an awesome album and kind of a cool collectible.

Fourteen years after the break-up of the super group Led Zeppelin (1980) guitarist Jimmy Page and singer Robert Plant came back together for the album "No quarter". They played on that cd Led Zeppelin material, on "Walking into Clarksdale" are only new songs. Do that only in a few cases think of the old Led Zeppelin-work. "Blue train" is a small piece of "Ramble on" and the Oriental sounds of "Most high" we know even though by songs like "Kashmir". The album makes a mostly peaceful, relaxing impression. "When the world was young" and "When I was a child" are the best examples. Songs in which the band really turns out are "Shining in the light", "Burning up" and "Sons of freedom".referencing Walking Into Clarksdale (CD, Album) CD 83092
Please read the letter that I wrote... [Walking Into Clarksdale]
Taking a chance on working with the enigmatic Steve Albini (of In Utero fame), Zeppelin's Page and Plant worked hard at shedding their trademark sound. Unfortunately they pulled it off much to the disappointment of their base judging by the fan reviews. Those looking, however, for Page and Plant to put some distance from less than spectacular solo efforts got it in heavy doses. The album, like many of the Zeppelin opuses, is all about the journey and for that Steve Albini deserves full marks. Cuts likes 'Shining In The Light', the middle-East tinged trip 'Upon a Golden Horse' and 'Please Read The Letter' make this as far removed as Plant and Page could possibly be from their legendary seventies' sound. Think that may have been the plan all along - Jimmy and Robert would most certainly agree.referencing Walking Into Clarksdale (CD, Album) 558 025-2
The version of 'Upon a Golden Horse' that appears on the CD is not as powerful as some other versions of that track I have heard done by Page/Plant. Why the middling version on the LP? Why an LP with so many middling tracks from Page/Plant? Its not like they can't tell the difference between something that rocks and something that is only semi good. This album just about bursts with semi good tracks. Its just one more puzzle in the long running saga of stuff ex Zeppelin members did years later on. Overall I think its average effort and average isn't what made either of them famous.referencing Walking Into Clarksdale (CD, Album) 558 025-2
It is not comprehensible, why one of the best Tracks from the 'Session' "The Window" don't appear on the Album! (> look B-Side Single: 'Most High')
