HIGH POINT – Blue Ocean Traders announced that its bi-annual Cash + Carry Gypsy Market Place event opens two days before the High Point Market at 9 am, Oct. 14, 2021 at 105 Depot Place, High Point, NC 27260. The seven day event runs through Oct. 20, 2021 and will feature an exclusive selection of global vintage wares along with best-selling classics in its 23,000-square-foot showroom.
“Our planning started early to make this year’s event standout and ensured shipments arrived on time and full of exclusive vintage finds from several different global regions,” said Jason Mulvene, president of Blue Ocean Traders.
Expect to discover a large collection of Turkish rugs in an array of sizes and a selection of vintage Middle Eastern pillows fashioned in traditional Kilim designs. All are one-of-a-kind and showcased alongside a vast inventory of Eastern European primitive wares, Thonet-style chairs and Mediterranean olive jars. Additional highlights of this year’s show include vintage architectural pieces – from small to large – sourced from India.
“Given the current logistical challenges of shipping internationally, we are fortunate to have more than 600 of our top-selling primitive pots and jars, as well as other vintage wares from China,” said Chris Conley, director of sales. “These pieces are excellent to stock for fall and winter.”
To remain compliant with Guilford County’s Covid-19 protocols, visitors are advised that an indoor mask mandate is currently in effect.
