We stayed at Round Hill for a wedding and it was a wonderful get away. The flight was easy, the resort was not too far from the airport, the rooms and cottages are impeccably decorated and the food was delicious. The beach is fantastic and the right size for the resort. It is intimate in feel and you never feel like you there are too many guests. I will go back!

My fiancé and I recently returned from this illustrious hotel located in a beautiful section of Hopewell Jamaica on the border of Montego Bay, and were extremely pleased with the level of service and professionalism displayed by each member of staff. Interestingly enough my fiancé and I stayed at a Riu Hotel located in Montego Bay just days prior to our reservation at Round Hill due to a personal need for a change of location, so we had the unique experience of staying at two well known hotels in one trip. We were located in the ‘Oceanfront Balcony Room’ and stayed for a total of 3 nights. Though each have their own particular styles, attractions and pricing….Round Hill Hotel was the clear winner. With stunning views, lush greenery and the way in which the property was purposefully built into the landscape we felt as though we were one with nature. Oddly enough, though it is a family friendly hotel one would assume it’s more of a couples retreat because of romantic atmosphere the property exudes with the ambient sounds of nature and dimly lit walkways. At first we were taken aback when noticing there was no tv provided in our room (though a dedicated tv room is on property), but once we opened up our window overlooking the ocean we soon realized what a distraction it would have been. The ambiance of the hotel was just the starting point. The cuisine offered at the hotel was certainly one to remember. At no point did the Chef disappoint, the menu items each night was different and featured a wide variety. The drinks were also quite fresh and never failed to pack a punch. Above all, the friendly and knowledgeable staff is who ties this place together and makes the stay worthwhile. Each meal was accompanied with laughter and wonderful conversation with the staff members. Even after checkout when our flight was delayed for 3+ hours, the staff made sure we were comfortable on the beach with a drink in hand and had our driver on standby until we were ready to leave. I would highly recommend this hotel and my fiancé and I personally look forward to returning at some point in the future.

We stayed in a private villa with it's own pool, for 8 glorious weeks. The villa was set in gorgeous gardens, with breath taking views of Montego Bay. Our cook made a delicious breakfast every morning, with jugs of fresh orange juice. The rooms were beautifully furnished, large feathery beds, with sheets of the softest best quality, Fretty towels , huge bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and moisturisers. Beautiful bouquets of local flowers in every room, including the bathrooms. The Hotel and surroundings were unbelievably lovely, with the most stunning views. We were there during Covid, but it felt like a true normal holiday, despite the staff and fellow guests being careful with all necessary precautions in place. The food was excellent, with menus changing daily. On Monday there was a beach BBQ, with huge flares and candles, and it was incredibly romantic. There was life music every evening, with a fantastic band, and the choice of songs resulted in most people dancing most nights. The restaurant itself overlooks the Caribbean Sea, has candles on each table, and is incredibly romantic. The staff were excellent, very friendly , polite and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Friday nights is Jamaica's Buffet night, which was also excellent with a large variety of lovely food, including scrumptious desserts. I can not recommend this Hotel highly enough. It is incredibly classy, yet relaxed. This Hotel deserves 7 stars. We can't wait to return.

We stayed at Round Hill after moving from another hotel with a bad experience. We made our reservation on line at about midnight while at the first hotel and used a web service not the hotel’s direct reservation, as they were closed. We arrived the next morning to an exuberant reception, an apology for our bad experience the day before at another hotel and what appeared to be a triple upgrade to a two bedroom villa with our own pool and breakfast survived at the villa each morning. While this was a great start, the grounds were gorgeous, the beach and hotel pool were perfect and the staff was terrific. As far as staff, Alvera, Junior, Jean and Joy were very warm and welcoming and kept the villa and it’s facilities immaculate and breakfast delicious and plentiful. Even a mention of liking coconut water was met with glasses of fresh coconut milk each morning. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the varied menu, different for every night - along with the beach barbecue, Jamaica night , afternoon tea provided something for everyone . Can’t forget to mention and thank Tiffany for the courtesy she showed us, along with all of the front desk staff. I recognize Round Hill is pricey ant and not everyone can stay there but if you can, do it. Also, the rooms in the hotel portion, with balconies, are very good value and as for the villas, the value was there too, except at a higher price. Can’t recommend Round Hill enough and can’t thank the staff and administrators enough for all they provided.

My fiancé & I stayed in Cottage 12 during our visit in December & the Hospitality was exceptional. Upon arrival we received a welcome cocktail & cordial greetings by multiple staff members that was personable & pleasant. Every Villa offers a unique decor & ambiance with timeless canvas paintings & breathtaking views. Each Villa is managed & maintained by Roundhill staff that take pride in maintaining the landscaping, & cleaning the villas private pools daily. Our chef cut & prepared fresh fruits each morning such as pineapples, mangoes, watermelon, & cantaloupe just to name a few. We indulged in a tasting our 2nd day which was superb very much impressed with the lobster Bisque soup, arugula salad, & grouper. To say the least the food is excellent. We also want to give a special thank you to Yanique for taking the time to give us a personal tour, Linda for taking the time to say hello & make us feel welcomed & Kingsley our Villa staff manager. After our visit we were certain that this was the perfect Venue to have our destination wedding. The spa was so relaxing and I would definitely recommend going to check it out. We got a 50min couple massage, felt like heaven on earth. The beach was very private and everyone kept to themselves. They have plenty of water sports for all ages. Just the over all experience was absolutely amazing I would recommended the Round Hill to everyone. Until next time ; )

I just don’t know how I have not heard of this place before now? We have traveled fairly extensively, and I believe Round Hill might be my favorite beach vacation ever! We were fortunate enough to be put in Cottage 20, which many here have told me is the nicest one on the property. Very hard to disagree with that statement! Dwayne, Odel, Carmen and the rest of the cottage staff are unbelievably great! They have made our visit feel like we are at an even nicer version of home! The service elsewhere on the property is equally as good. Although the resort is fully booked, it never feels crowded anywhere. The food is fantastic. There is plenty to do. We added the Round Hill plan that included all food and beverages for our stay. It has been well worth it and I would recommend doing so if you plan to stay on the resort to eat and drink. All in all, I would come back here in a second. The only negative I can think of, and it is no fault of the resort, is that it sits under the flight path to the airport so at times, low flying airplanes pass over head for a few seconds. If that’s all anyone has to complain about, that’s a great deal! Kudos to the entire staff at Round Hill for creating an experience and not just a place to stay!

I have been to Round Hill 4 times and it has never failed to provide the perfect getaway. I have always stayed in the Pineapple House and we loved Room 105 during our recent stay with its amazing view and comforts. The staff always makes you feel at home and did a wonderful job with the thoughtful Covid protocol Round Hill follows. The Chef is top notch and the restaurants serve a nice variety. We also enjoyed the beach bar, tennis and spa.
Additionally our experience at the Montego Bay Airport (Sangster) was also very positive with temperature checks, hand sanitizer and social distancing.
I highly recommend a Round Hill vacation!

I have WFH since March 4, 2020. I was burned out and dragging. I was supposed to stay at Round Hill in April 2020 following a business event which never happened. I couldn’t cancel my reservation (just because who would do that during covid) so I kept pushing the dates several times (sorry reservations!). I finally booked a non-refundable stay and so glad I did. I had two amazing flights on JetBlue. Casmere picked me up at the airport and brought me to the hotel. He is a delight. My stay was incredible. I was able to social distance, bath in the sun, eat great food and recharge. All I really needed after WFH for so long. I did not do the BBQ which I heard from other guests was hard to social distance at but otherwise so easy. Most guests wore their masks and the staff always had them on. The staff at the hotel are just incredible. So welcoming and helpful. I would love to recognize Diane at the front desk, the guys at the pool and pool bar and Sean who took me out on the boat for hours. Sean was even able to find me a pod of dolphins and a skate to see! A neighboring guest was blasting music in their room. Diane at the front desk addressed the music and the following day reached back out to check in with me. The guys at the pool/bar are incredible. I highly recommend a few pina coladas!
My only negatives....if you get a bottle of rum in your room drink it while you can. The airport security took it away from me.
If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. They have tree frogs on the property that hold nightly rock concerts from sun down to sun up.
I so look forward to visiting again. I just hope after the pandemic it is as wonderful as my recent trip.

My husband and I recently had a wonderful vacation at Round Hill. It is hard to put into words the beauty of the property and the work of the outstanding staff. The staff is always available for questions and concerns. Mark and the dining staff were committed to creating the very best in our dining experience. We loved the dining options of fresh seafood and local fruits. The thoughtful menus are constantly changing, so there is no worry to leave the property in search of variation. The entire dining staff was incredible, especially new servers, Javar and Lavern. We enjoyed our nights at the main bar listening to Brimsley on the piano, creating a pleasant ambiance. Our best memory is staying at Cottage 6. We had the pleasure of having Angela, Daydare and Sylvester taking care of us. "Amazing Angela" and her staff were incredible. Professional and kind, truly taking pride in creating a unique experience of staying in a cottage, working as a team. We had the pleasure of knowing they love what they do. Every morning we had a delicious breakfast with fresh local fruit on our beautiful terrace. The food and the outstanding service in our cottage made our trip memorable. However, having spent the week with our staff was like being with family.

First, the good... They do have good entertainment most nights. Some of the staff are very nice.
But, we were there as a couple looking for a relaxing week. Some romance, with peace and quiet. Well, first, the beach (which is so small you cannot avoid hearing everyone else’s conversation because you sit so closely together) is right below the flight path to where the planes land, so you hear the planes overhead a couple of times an hour zooming over. Forget napping... It is way, way too loud. There is also no dedicated area for children. We had a room in the Pineapple House. Huge mistake. There are shuttered windows, without the glass. Hence, no sound protection from the outside. So, not only do you hear the workers first thing in the morning, but we were unlucky enough to have a family with 3 kids under 5 below us, who started shrieking (I am not exaggerating) every morning by 7:30. It was nuts! Also, the service was spotty. We had a bottle of wine, but had no wine glasses. We called and asked for them, and 4 hours later they still hadn’t arrived. Twice we had no cold water in our shower. The beach is so small you can walk the entire length in 5 minutes. Btw, if you want something to eat after 9:30pm, forget it. No room service. Nothing. Yeah, it was a letdown for sure. There are so many other places in the Caribbean with much more to offer, where you can get a restful sleep, a much prettier, quieter, larger beach, and better service.

We stayed in the Hillside House in the resort but I'm sure the folks at the front desk can help- everyone at that resort is amazing and so attentive to the guests.
For the many years ive been coming to Jamaica and many clients i have sent to and from the resort its always been the trusted Top choice Jamaica Tours . They have been my go to and most reliable . There easy to book online and reliable so contact them there like family to me now .
There are more places to choose from in the Hopewell area.
