I would have to agree with the last comment. This is a great sounding artist. To me it’s more of a mellowed out alternative sound. Also with some light jazz influence. I had a copy of this back in the late 90’s to early 2000’s. Got rid of it and regretted it. I’m glad I was able to get another copy more recently. He’s also part of the more recent band “ The Claypool Lennon Delirium”. Check them out. It’s a great Prog/Psychedelic band with Les Claypool and Sean Lennon.

This is a amazing record, I love it! I was expecting a goofy poppy 80’s mix like Julians record. But I got something more like Nirvana and the grudge of the 90’s mixed with slow thoughtful beautiful moments. I was seriously not expecting to be this taken away. If you have the pleasure of finding one of these take a listen and buy it.
