Synopsis
A reign of terror is created in the town of Boulder Gulch by Dave Matlock, a saloon owner, who sends death warnings to his victims. Rev. Otis Briggs, a friend of Death Valley Drake, warns him that Matlock wants to frame him, but Drake refuses to leave, having taken an interest in Janet, the sheriff's daughter. When the sheriff is shot, Drake is accused by Matlock and is arrested; but he escapes jail and goes to join Matlock's gang. He draws a lot with the death sign on it, pretends to shoot the parson, but is exposed by the villain, who plots to escape with Janet. Lois, Matlock's woman, helps Drake escape, and he forces Matlock over a cliff in a showdown.
