Henry's father was Philip Wentworth[1]
Henry's mother was Mary Clifford[1]

Henry married Anne (Saye) Wentworth before 1484[2]. They had 2 sons

  • Sir Richard
  • Edward

and 4 daughters

  • Elizabeth, wife of Roger Darcy Esq, of Sir Thomas Wyndham, and of Sir John Bourchier, 1st Earl of Bath
  • Margery, wife of Sir John Seymour of Wolf Hall
  • Dorothy, 2nd wife of Sir Robert Broughton
  • Jane

It's not known when Anne died, but Sir Henry obtained a licence to marry Elizabeth Neville (widow of Thomas le Scrope, 6th Lord Scrope of Masham) on 2nd, or 22nd, October 1494. They had no children.

Henry, K.B.,[1] died between 17 August 1499 and 27 February 1501 and was buried at Newhouse Abbey, Lincolnshire, England.[3][4]

Sir Henry was the grandfather of Queen Jane Seymour via his daughter Margery (Wentworth) Seymour

Licence for 2nd marriage: Test. Ebor. IV (1869), Surtees Soc. 53 for 1868, page 341. The "Margery Wentworth of Deighton" mentioned here is unidentified. She seems unlikely to be Sir Henry's daughter marrying Sir John Seymour of Wolf Hall.
