Bobby Otto Nesbitt, Sr., 71, husband of Catherine Annette Lambert Nesbitt and widower of Judy Ann Goins Nesbitt, died Friday, October 9, 2015, at Medical University of South Carolina.

Mr. Nesbitt was born March 10, 1944, in Greeleyville, SC, a son of Weldon Levine Nesbitt Sr. and Bertie Lutia Osbourne Nesbitt.

He retired after being employed by more than 34 years by Georgetown Steel Mill. He was a member of the Rock Pentecostal Holiness Church where he served in ministry as a Deacon and in the Men’s Fellowship. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and relaxing in the mountains.

Bobby and Annette were married January 27, 1984.

He was survived by five children, Julie (Eric) Duncan, Sheri Nesbitt, Bobby (Stephanie) Nesbitt, Jr., Katie Nesbitt, and Bryant (Jennifer) Nesbitt; twelve grandchildren, Nicki, Neal, Jamie, Marcus, Logan (Brittany), Aaron, Olivia, Jonah, Kaitlyn, Ashlynn, Asher, and Jude; and three great-grandchildren, Mariah, Jarius, and Pierce; two brothers, Weldon (Melissa) Nesbitt, Jr., and Gerald (Brenda) Nesbitt; three sisters, Patsy Bourne, Jean (Charles) Barrineau, and Kathy (Al) Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; his first wife; a sister, Shirley Fulton; and a brother-in-law, Frank Bourne.

Funeral Services were Sunday, October 11, 2015, in Rock Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial, directed by the Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home, followed in Sampit United Methodist Church Cemetery.
