If it makes you feel any better, Aigis wins by cheating technically speaking. Out of the 3 finalists, she is the only one who got her fan art retweeted during the voting.

On a flip side I could argue Makoto lost because the account ranted about her angrily.
As did likely a lot of the P5 cast as a result but this doesn't matter that much.
But at that time he only block 21 people beside P5 get a lot of hate already so it wouldn't suprise me if people vote for the the other characters to spite P5 fans. It's not really the case in the finals
Honestly I voted everyday and it felt like that shift happened after Nanako first vote, All of a sudden persona 5 characters had a very hard time winning when they did but they mostly just got eliminated.

I always wonder if the total would be different if the bracket was laid out differently. What if Adachi went against Naoto in the semifinals instead of going against Maya, and Narukami was against Maya? Would Adachi win then? IDK.

Obviously since this is a bracket, it’s a question of “Who is truly the best?” That doesn’t really work when the amount of voters changes over the course of the polls. Maybe all the Maya fans came in too late.
I expected Maya to lose, i was more thinking the finals would shape up to be Aigis, Adachi, and Narukami. Or would it be Aigis, Naoto, and Narukami?
