According to a report by The Numbers, the highly-praised Godzilla x Kong has officially become the second highest-grossing Monsterverse movie worldwide. With a box office take of approximately $546 million at the box office, Godzilla x Kong passed Godzilla (2014), which earned $529 million. It sits behind only Kong: Skull Island, which earned $561 million and maintains its small lead. Godzilla x Kong still has time left in theaters, meaning that it could eventually pass Skull Island.
