Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- David T20 contributionsWent to see the fantastic Blake exhibition, so didn't get too much chance to excplore rest of this fantastic museum as we were on a deadline. Great building and some breathtaking exhibitions. Blake exhibition was fantastic. Nice shop and cafe. Friendly staff.Written 16 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Linda Rostøen FBergen, Norway10 contributionsVery professional and highly skilled. We where a group of 10 in the family who enjoyed the class. It was interesting, fun and the best chemistry class ever!Written 20 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Adrian S7 contributionsKing's College Chapel is a stunning building and the eye is immediately drawn to it. I decided to attend Evensong there recently on a Saturday afternoon. Due to a mistake on my part, I accidentally got into a queue for an event at a neighbouring College. By the time I realised my mistake, it looked as though there were about 500 ahead of me in the Evensong queue. Consequently I ended up getting shunted into some rather uncomfortable benches up near the high altar and, by the end of the service, I was feeling in need of a chiropractor! However I'm sure that was largely my own fault and could have been avoided by getting in the right place earlier. I was pleased to hear the first lesson read from the King James Bible and announced correctly too. However the second lesson was a rather "interesting" passage from one of the apocryphal gospels. Music was of a high standard as might be expected. Having taken one of my own Prayer Books, instead of using their printed order of service, I was a little thrown when the opening words of the Creed were first recited by the Minister and then had to be repeated by the congregation. Otherwise it was a satisfactory experience.Written 30 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DLNYsutton in ashfield265 contributionsMy Wife had & I visited Madingley Cemetery & Memorial on Saturday 11th May with an included guided tour. We would recommend that you enter through the main entrance & not from the 'bottom car park, so that you do get the full WOW factor on entering...& it was a WOW for us!!.... What a place & somewhere that if you're in the area is a 'MUST DO'... So tranquil, peaceful & calming, but immeasurably Humbling to what these brave servicemen & women sacrificed for us all.
My wife had pr-booked the tour as a suprise for myself & we'd certainly recommend this. Our 'tour guide' was the actual Superindent of this Fabulous site, the equally fabulous Angel(ex US Navy). He had previously held the same role at the the US site in Florence, Italy. He was simply amazing, having time to tell the story of Madingley but still having the time to listen & answer our own questions. We left feeling like we had made a 'new friend'
Thankyou you Angel & Thankyou Madingley for a thought provoking experience. We will be back.

- Tony B63 contributionsAn absolute gem. Everything you could want of an museum: interesting, educational, helpful staff and enough exhibits that make you stop and stare. - Philip PHerentals, Belgium1,422 contributionsWe were so happy to just pass by when a group of graduates arrived. The mere respect for tradition is stunning. Beautiful buildings, of course, as well!Written 1 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ruth2 contributionsWhat a gem of a museum. Fantastic for all ages. My two kids (4&6) really enjoyed the interactive bits and going for a ride on the army jeep! So wonderful to have this piece of local history. Staff were welcoming and friendly and so knowledgeable.
Gorgeous little cafe too. Highly recommend.Written 12 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You will be sucked into an incredibly rewarding series of realizations about how objects connect, how nature and art connect, how light lays on flooring, how objects and ideas in one room ask you to revisit what you remember of objects and ideas on a totally different floor of the house. It's not a museum. It's an immersive experience that lets you practice seeing the world more resonantly. I felt like my brain had been rewired by my visit.Written 22 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Josie IinoCambridge, UK605 contributionsAs a student, I have the privilege of walking through here to get to my lectures every Monday-Friday during term. Therefore, I have almost forgotten it's beauty - almost. It is undeniably gorgeous. They are currently doing construction to the entrance, but the backend is still magnificent. It is grand, with a big green field between traditional buildings of massive height. I love walking under the trees in the autumn with their beautiful colours. I also very much enjoy seeing the cows when they do come out. I am almost always compelled to stop and take a photo on my commute to lecture, no matter how tired I am, because it is that gorgeous.Written 10 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
