      Critics Consensus

Chock full of clichéd gags and glaring product placement, Mannequin: On the Move is even more lifeless than its woeful predecessor.

John Hartl Seattle Times Unfortunately, the recycled plot is still the driving force here, and the movie becomes increasingly frantic trying to accommodate it. In the end, Raffill can't bring this dummy to life, but he does try. Rated: 1.5/4 Jul 15, 2014 Full Review Torene Svitil Empire Magazine Despite the presence of four credited screenwriters, the plot is a rehash of cliches and tired jokes. Rated: 2/5 Jul 15, 2014 Full Review Desmond Ryan Philadelphia Inquirer Beneath this slick variation on the Sleeping Beauty theme lies a male fantasy that would not withstand much hard psychological scrutiny. Rated: 1.5/4 Jul 15, 2014 Full Review TV Guide Sometimes talented filmmakers can pep up even the most hackneyed material with an infusion of energy and talent. Rated: 3/4 Jul 15, 2014 Full Review David Parkinson Radio Times The script is so full of old gags it must have been chiselled on stone tablets, while Stewart Raffill's direction is a model example of how not to let the action get in the way of product placements. Rated: 1/5 Jul 15, 2014 Full Review Roger Hurlburt South Florida Sun-Sentinel Could somebody please tell me why four scriptwriters were needed for Mannequin Two: On the Move? Caro V Fantastic film! Full of magic and fun! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/30/23 Full Review darren h I watched it a couple of times and thought it was a cute movie. If you go into it without any expectations than you might enjoy it. Meshach Taylor's performance was a highlight to the film. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Agalmatophilia representation matters. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Overall an ok film, but many questions are still unanswered. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Featuring the delicious Kristy Swanson this film is a sequel to the quite popular film Mannequin. A queen in some ancient times is cursed with a necklace that transforms her into a statue and she is then somehow transported to the real world where she(the statue) is kept in a warehouse. A guy accidently takes off the necklace and she comes to life. This is a harmless fun kind of film although it was torn apart by critics on release. William Ragsdale(wonder why he never hit it big) is the main lead opposite Swanson and they make a sweet couple. Watch this if you have nothing better to do but it is cute.
