Yeah, it does get a lot of hate. And even for people who do like it, it's never going to actually be #1. So to answer your original question, no. No one is going to vote for C'est La Vie.
I love so many of the songs on this album, MOSW and Dying Breed are incredible, My God is wonderful, and the title track is so underappreciated, but I gotta go with Caution honestly. That song has meant so much to me, and I think it's so beautiful. The guitars, synths, Brandon's singing, the lyrics are all really amazing and have stuck with me a lot. Some of my favorites from the song:
"Doesn't like birthdays they remind her of why she can go straight from zero to the Fourth of July"
"She's got Hollywood eyes but she can't shoot what she's seen"
"If I don't get out of this town, I just might be the one who finally burns it down"
"'Cause it's some kind of sin to live your whole life on a might've been"
Dying Breed is one of the best songs they’ve ever made.
