Upgrading from Free to Paid version - reinstall needed?

PostWed Jan 17, 2018 5:27 pm

I just received my activation card and can't seem to find a place to enter the code to activate the product. Is a re-install needed?

Yes you have to do an actual install of the paid version. It's actually a somewhat different program, not just an unlock of certain features.

If you've been using the free version, you need to download the Studio version.

It's a different download/software. Studio will check for dongle or activation code.

When you go to BMD's site to download you get the normal registration form. But look in the bottom left corner and you'll see 'download only' which lets you download straight away.
