      Gareth v A fantastic re-imagining of the classic cult film. Beautifully shot, layered and with enough twists to keep you coming back for more, this is one of TV's best show from 2016. Just generally a pleasure. Note that it can only go downhill from here, which it does, with a somewhat scattered second season, and complete change of scene, cast of characters, and flip of premise in season three, which, if viewed in a particular way, could nicely tie up the series' central philosophical viewpoint with its final line of dialogue (if one ignores the still-open plot points).
