Medical Officer for the Distance Education Unit ( Job Code - 1543) Qualification: Any MBBS with minimum 5 years of relevant work experience or MD / DNB / PG Diploma in General or Family Medicine with 2 years of relevant work experience. Candidates with curriculum development and instructional design experience in online or blended distance learning platforms, with experience in primary or secondary care settings are preferred.

Additionally experience and / or training in research methodologies and medical education is helpful. He / She must be willing to travel periodically to teach in the department’s contact programs to be held at contact centres located within India. He / she should be able to coordinate a multidisciplinary teaching team consisting of academic, administrative and technical staff in order to facilitate the instructional design and running of a blended distance learning course.
