Blackmagic Forum • View topic - Connecting Atem mini via wifi
I am wondering if there is a way to connect the atem mini pro to a wifi connection without Ethernet. There must be a device that can get wifi signal and share it via Ethernet but without creating its own network so I can connect via wifi with my computer in another side of the venue and control it. Any ideas? Attached is a drawing of what I mean.

Keep in mind that the Atem control protocol is not WIFI friendly. If the Wifi connection is not 100% rock stable the atem will disconnect and a lot of issues will appear..
Hardwired ethernet is ALWAYS recommended.

Oooooh, I would NOT trust that setup in a Live situation. With 20 years of experience doing Live shows, you do NOT ever want to use Wi-Fi for anything mission critical.
My two cents.
My Biases:
You NEED training. You NEED a desktop. You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
