It’s easy to forget that the famed Kardashian sisters do, in fact, have a brother. Ever since Rob Kardashian stepped away from the reality TV world in 2017, he’s managed to keep himself out of the public eye — but, according to Khloé Kardashian, he may just be ready to rejoin the rest of the fam on their Hulu series, The Kardashians.

Rob first appeared on E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians when it premiered in 2007. At the time, he was a 20-year-old business student attending the University of Southern California — making him only one of two Kardashian siblings to attend college, the other being Kourtney Kardashian.

In the early days of the series, the Arthur George founder documented his relationship with then-girlfriend (and Cheetah Girls star) Adrienne Bailon. He can also be remembered for the hilarious Season 4 episode in which his mom, Kris Jenner, accidentally slips him a Viagra pill — resulting in a trip to the ER.

While Rob was a regular cast member on the show (as well as Khloé and Lamar when he was living with his sister and her ex-husband Lamar Odom), he ultimately decided to leave after Season 13. Aside from a few cameos in KUWTK, we haven’t seen much of him since the show’s Hulu revival — but it looks like he may be coming back “soon.”

Is Rob Kardashian Coming Back to Hulu’s The Kardashians?

In The Kardashians Season 3, Episode 8 — titled “I Have Some Very Important News” — Rob’s voice is heard on a phone call with Khloé as they plan his daughter’s birthday party. In her confessional, the Good American founder teases that her brother may be coming back to reality series in the near future.

“I do think Rob would come back to the show. He talks about it a lot,” she reveals. “I do know that Rob has been through a lot personally. But he’s literally the best dad I know and I’m so proud of him for that. I know that he’s feeling really good about himself and I’m happy for him.”

She adds, “I have faith that soon he’ll be back on the show.”

Why did Rob Kardashian leave Keeping Up With The Kardashians?

Following his tumultuous relationship with now-ex-fiancé Blac Chyna — with whom he shares 6-year-old daughter Dream — Rob opted to take a step back from the spotlight. During the KUWTK reunion in 2021, Khloé told host Andy Cohen that her brother “just needed a break” from reality TV.

“It’s not so much about physical appearance,” she said, per ET. “It’s about how he felt internally about some of the women in his life, and how they treated him or how he felt they might have used him to get to certain areas or levels.”

In the most recent episode of The Kardashians, Khloé praises Rob as an “incredible” dad, adding that they’re still “crazy close” even if she doesn’t have a relationship with his baby mama. She tells cameras, “It’s just hard to have a relationship with someone when they sue you for hundreds of millions of dollars,” referring to Blac Chyna’s failed defamation lawsuit against the family last year.

New episodes of The Kardashians air on Thursdays on Hulu.
