Living in Southfield, Michigan has been a lovely 8 years of my life. It isn't flashy, but it's a city that works for me. The nightlife scene may end with the sun set, and the commute can be a drag during rush hour at 3-6pm. But there's a genuine sense of community here. My neighbors lend a hand when needed, and the music concerts in the park is a highlight of the week. Southfield is someone who values a friendly atmosphere, affordability, and a adaptable pace of life, it's a pretty good place to call home.
My experience with Southfield has been nothing but pleasant and positive. I love how the southfield community comes together, especially when it’s come to supporting one another and getting to know new people. So far, it’s been 7 years since me and my spouse moved in, and we don’t experience many problems. The people here tend to upkeep their homes really well and it’s pretty quiet here. My only suggestion, would be them eventually needing to add more restaurants to bring more money to Southfield. There are literally no good restaurants in this area.
