Having seen this on TV when it was first released, I had wanted a good copy on DVD. This is now possible with Polar Media's release of what is, the definitive documentary of sightings of ghosts and strange happenings on the oldest underground rail network in the world. This documentary is based on eyewitness accounts from people who have worked on, or still work on the tube. With a very balanced narration by actor Paul McGann, this short film delivers a very thought-provoking insight into strange happenings experienced by patrolmen and maintenance workers on the underground.
This is in no way an overplayed sensationalist documentary, but rather a very well balanced and very rational study into the possibility that the London Underground is badly haunted. Considering how many graves, church crypts and plague-pits were smashed up by the tunnel boring-machines during construction, together with accidental deaths and suicides, it's small wonder that unusual sightings have occurred.
This is a very well produced piece of work. Sound quality is great, picture quality is terrific. Recommended.
