Where are these official heights from?
Those official heights primarily came from celebheights, and YouTube. Some of the actor particularly Jake Gyllenhaal measured in talk show. But I gave Jonas Brothers height based off of the picture, especially when I met them.
Because those are so reliable.
Actually, Celebheights is the most trustworthy and reliable site for people’s height there is. The guy that runs it don’t just list height, it is his work to research and spend time to work out celebrities heights, and it is pretty damn accurate. So to get the real heights of people it is the only reliable site.
Same way there are a ton of websites that claim net worth for various celebrities and offer absolutely no evidence as for how they're making their calculations....
Who do you think is bigger weight-wise Kellan Lutz or Henry Cavill? What do you think is the weight difference?
I've never understood why guys feel the need to lie about their heights.
I'm 5'7", and I'm fine with that. I've known several people who have told me that they're 5'10" or taller. And I'm like, dude, I'm standing right in front of you. You're the exact same height I am. And I ain't no 5'10".

I agree. It’s dumb. I think it’s stupid to lie about one’s height, to treat tall people like they’re better and to shame short people like Tom Cruise for something that doesn’t matter - nor is it a choice. And why these people think height is something that needs “investigation” is beyond me. Height is the last prejudice and has to go. I’m a slightly below average woman, by the way, and people act like I should be ashamed. Hello??

Actually they can. A man loses about 2 inches on average in his lifetime and women about 3 inches. If someone lives into their 90s or 100s its very possible to lose 4+ inches. My grandad lost about 6 inches due to illnesses and spinal problems.

I like how many actors such as Ben affleck and Clint Eastwood are listed as 6'4" according to Google, but then images of them next to a supposed 6'2" Morgan Freeman always suggest otherwise
In Bristol I have seen Tom hardy in casual slippers from 6-7 feet far away, he is around 5'8. I am myself 5'8.75 and he appeared little bit shorter than me but his physique was quite good.

I thinks the comment “He is almost 50, so he has lost a lot of height” is hilarious. Clearly you don’t know the age at which people lose height and how much is typical. Most people have not lost any height by age 50, or even in their 60’s. And it’s rare to lose “a lot” of height ever. An inch or two is the most people will lose, unless they have osteoporosis. And some people never lose any.
