Don't attend this college unless you want to waste your time, especially if you're disabled. I have adhd, anxiety, autism, and depression and find it very non accepting here. Professors, disabled services, and my work have been very unhelpful with me. Professors, specifically, are very bad at teaching in the first place. No one here that teaches is professional/has a degree. The food is very mediocre. They always undercook/overcook food. There's virtually no party life here/greek life. The place isn't well kept which is mostly because it's very old. The dorms are falling apart and always need maintenance calls. Safety is low because police are unhelpful with ppl with disabilities and also unhelpful with stuff like drugs being used/noise complaints. Everyone lets random people into dorms all the time. I genuinely struggle with the curriculum pace and so do normal people. It's (for example), one chapter one day and then they move on the next day. I've heard of people dropping out/transfe
I am a freshman, and I've found that there are a lot of great opportunities for friendship, connections, and team building on campus! They have great food, but their hiring process for on-campus jobs is absolutely terrible. A good school all around, though!
I enjoyed my first year attending quite well, then I came back and it was a totally different feeling. The dropout rates for this school were never discussed in the tours but it should be. The academic advisor that I had just quit mid year and was replaced with an advisor who was on the opposite side of Washington and the school felt no need to tell me that when I booked an in-person appointment with them. I think the clubs are great and very diverse. The food is good quality (most of the time) and the student staff are friendly. There are plenty of sports that Central offers and that includes intramural sports as well that are put together by students and student staff. The gym is two stories and great for any workout, they also have a sauna in the locker room for after workout recovery. If anything were in need of change it would be the advising staff. I think Central needs to better communicate and accommodate when it comes to advising their students but they do a good job overall.
