Ava Knepper, a senior at LBHS, was honored on June 3 at the Orange County Athletic Directors' Association Athlete of the Year dinner held at Servite High School. Knepper was named the Sunset Conference Female Athlete of the Year, recognizing her outstanding athletic achievements and dedication to water polo and swim.
Laguna Beach High School students demonstrated their skills in a simulated mass casualty incident simulation on Wednesday at Guyer Stadium. During the exercise, students enrolled in the Career Technical Education Pathways for Emergency Response and Theatre collaborated to reenact a scenario involving a power transformer explosion at the stadium.
Six LBHS student-athletes participated in spring signing day on Wednesday afternoon, officially committing to an NCAA Division I or Division II school that has offered them a scholarship to play for a sports team.
The ceramics program at LBHS offers a comprehensive journey into the world of ceramic arts, beginning with Ceramics 1 and advancing through to AP Studio Art 3D Design. The National Merit Scholarship Corporation today announced this year’s winners of the $2,500 scholarship awarded to 2,500 students nationwide, including LBHS students Keira Hundhausen and Christopher Herkins.
