The ceramics program at LBHS offers a comprehensive journey into the world of ceramic arts, beginning with Ceramics 1 and advancing through to AP Studio Art 3D Design. The National Merit Scholarship Corporation today announced this year’s winners of the $2,500 scholarship awarded to 2,500 students nationwide, including LBHS students Keira Hundhausen and Christopher Herkins.
LBUSD has been named a 2024 California Green Ribbon School District Sustainability Honoree by the California Department of Education for the district's environmental excellence and demonstrated achievement of the three pillars of the U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon Schools program.
LBUSD was honored this month as one of 975 school districts across the nation to receive the 2024 Best Communities for Music Education Award from the NAMM Foundation. This award acknowledges districts and schools for their exceptionally high commitment to and accessibility of music education, emphasizing the importance of integrating music education into a comprehensive educational framework.
