I had the pork chop meal with Mac & cheese, Collard Greens, and sweet potatoes. The pork chops were perfectly seasoned and just the right amount of crispness. The mac & cheese, and sweet potatoes were really good, the greens were okay seasoning could have been a little better. I really liked the ambience and loved the music they were playing, it was R & B from the 80’s, 90’s, 2000’s. I will definitely be visiting Ella B’s again.

The food and drinks were excellent. On Sundays, they have a Saxophonist who is very good. Love the atmosphere!!

The moment my daughter & I walked into this Black-Owned establishment, it was a level of excellence. We were cheerfully greeted & asked if it were our first time visiting. It was for my daughter. While walking to our seat, the manager/operator (Mack) came & greeted us & told us more about the restaurant’s events and other venues they own. He was full of usable information. We were given suggestions on our orders. Everything sounded and looked delicious yet we chose catfish, fries, sweet potatoes and mac & cheese. It was all delicious & prepared as though it came out of a home kitchen. The atmosphere & vibe was equally amazing. We will be returning and bringing more friends & family with us. As well as taking full advantage of the event center and patio this 2024 Summer. Well done Ella B’s. We need you to stay here!!

This was a pleasant dining experience we had at Ella B’s restaurant across from Cowboys Stadium. The service was probably the best part in my opinion! Food was good and music was loud but classy and soulful. Will be back soon.

This family owned and operated restaurant is fantastic! Mack is so welcoming! The level of service is top tier! The food is amazing and was definitely made with love! The dj and ambiance is a total Vibe! A must for date night, celebrations or just to have a nice dinner with friends/family! I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and Ella Bs NEVER disappoints!

The food was fantastic. However I was not greeted until 15 minutes at the door. (I had a reservation) I was seated by Gigi who was so nice and gave me water. Then I had to wait 30 minutes to get a waiter. They appointed Gigi. She was sweet and patient. I got my food after like 45 minutes. It was delicious. Just wish the timing was better. Maybe prep for larger crowds and have more staff. Have a plan with who waits what section or table.

This wasn’t our first experience at Ella B’s but will certainly be our last. The music was extremely loud, so much so we couldn’t talk to each other without yelling. We tried but ended up texting each other instead. We also had to yell our orders to the waitress. Our waitress took 35 minutes just to get all of us glasses of water. When she finally came over, it was after we asked the manager to send her because we were ready to order. We asked about our drinks when she dropped off the rest of our water because we never got them. We had to flag down another waitress and the manager again to get some of them as they all weren’t ready. By now, we had been there for an hour. We finally get our food but the wait wasn’t worth it. Our potstickers appetizer never made it to the table. But it made it on our bill. The pork chops were bland as only the dredging was seasoned and dry from being overcooked. The cornbread tasted old. The fried chicken entrees came out without the honey glaze. It took us 10 minutes to get that then finally the rest our drinks were delivered. They were no longer cold and didn’t have much alcohol in it. At this point, we were done and ready to pay and leave. This is when we saw our waitress again, she went around and confirmed each check but charged everyone for the wrong amounts. We had to fix it by paying each other the differences in cash amongst ourselves. All in all, not a great experience. The quality of food, service, and entertainment has gone down especially for a place charging a $10 per person entertainment fee. Also, if you’re in a party of 6 or more the gratuity is added so don’t include more when they give you the machine to enter an amount. You will be just adding more tip. The waitress also did that on top of the horrible service. She procured herself an extra $13 for a $29 total tip on our check alone. So, we’re definitely not returning.

The food was decent. My waffle maker as cold and I asked for my chicken and fish to be cooked well done however it wasn’t cooked well done. I didn’t complain. The manager was nice and accommodating.

Good food. Meats could use a little more seasoning though. However I really enjoyed the yams & greens. Got the lemon drop for alcohol beverage but would not get it again. It tasted like watered lemon juice. Overall nice vibe and atmosphere.

I gone before and this time I had my older siblings with me. The music was so loud they didn’t enjoy it . The saxophone player was good he just had his music so loud you couldn’t carry on a conversation at all.

Love the vibe! Music was too loud at times, chicken wasn’t seasoned, they weren’t prepared, some of the items weren’t ready when we arrived, ex: sweet tea or Oxtails so we had to chose other options. You’re charged for extra sauce when the quantity is already small. No refills on certain drinks but the prices are a little high. I prefer to eat where my drinks are unlimited, food that’s listed on the menu is prepared and available! Overall, I think it’s a great vibe

To be totally honest, the flavoring of the sides really need to be revisited. The greens could have been good but they were extremely salty and the entire table had to send them back. The Mac and cheese had no flavor and tasted watery. The cabbage was missing flavor and seasoning as well. The fish and hushpuppies were good

Disappointed. We had a party of 16 total and no one liked the food. The food was cold and tasted as if it had been cooked earlier that day. I hate we didn’t like it

Ive been here plenty times before and didnt have any complaints. But for some reason this go round everything was just not up to par… The time it took for our table to get drinks, my food was burnt, we kept getting bumped. The band was decent but extremely loud so we were basically yelling to converse with each other and even with the waitress.

Food was over and under cooked: fried chicken was over cooked, sweet potatoes were undercooked, fish was suppose to be filets but was served fish strips. Hush puppies were hard and overcooked. Nice place first impression was my last impression.

Our family took our mom to celebrate her 73rd bday. We had an amazing time and enjoyed all the entrees we ordered. The service was amazing. If you're lucky, Nikki will serve you and have you laughing and navigating the menu like a pro. She was amazing and took great care of us. Everybody walked away very happy and very full.

For a small restaurant the food and service were great. Although there was a lot of commotion going on inside the restaurant, that pulled away from the restaurant. Music was great but extremely loud for the small space. More R&B instead of the new Gen Hard Rap was a great choice. I was ALL in. I would have loved to the manager better dressed besides a sweatsuit, but I will be back.
