Around the time I visited in mid-March, this postcard-perfect square in Old Town Prague—the square of all squares when it comes to this lovely city—was host to an Easter-themed market, with a variety of food stalls, live music, and activities for children. It was a bustling yet relaxing environment to soak in the history and culture of Czechia. Flanked by colorful architecture and the iconic astronomical clock tower, the Staromestske Plaza embodies all what makes Prague so special.

There are so many different things to see inside the castle complex. Changing of the guards at 12pm each day is well worth a visit. We paid to enter some of the exhibits/buildings, I would definitely recommend paying for the audio headsets which gives context and information about the items and buildings you are viewing. We don’t pre book just purchased tickets on the day.

A beautiful and unique cathedral, especially from the outside. Inside you see beautiful stained glass inside, pairings and altars, it is very large.

Prague’s Old Town is absolutely delightful, with lots of people during busy periods but certainly not as hectic as the likes of Paris or London. I didn’t go into the astronomical clock or give it much attention on my trip, but I sort of regret not taking more pictures and watching it turn on the hour. It’s a centerpiece to the legendary charm of this city.

My boyfriend booked The Experiment + the Dungeon experience for us! I was a bit sceptical but I have to say it was awesome! Especially the Experiment, where you have to solve puzzles to escape! Our guide Natalie did a wonderful job :) also probs to the Patient in the Experiment! Then we took the dungeon experience (the guide here, Jacob, also did an awesome Job). It was very atmospheric and I was absolutely scared :)

West of the Vltava, you’ll find yourself in Mala Strana, a.k.a the Lesser Town. There’s so many GREATER things to do and see here, though…Petrin Park, Prague Castle, and St Vitus Cathedral to name a few. Strolling the historic streets could occupy you for hours on end. Don’t forget Vltava’s west while visiting Prague.

A magnificent synagogue that was beautifully restored after the Holocaust . The visit is included in a self-guided tour, valid for 3 days, of the Jewish Museum in Prague.

Lobkowicz Palace is a wonderful and historic building in the stunning Prague Castle complex, its the only privately owned building in Prague Castle and is home to the famous Lobkowicz Museum.
Constructed in the late 16th century by the Czech nobleman Jaroslav Of Perstejn, its a great building to explore, most distinctive feature of this palace building is the beautiful stone tower ,all in all its a great place to check out if you're in Prague Castle.

A stunning piece of architecture! I was speechless by the beauty and majestic architecture.
The old gentleman who work “guard” the interior of the cathedral don’t speak a word of English, but that does not shy away from them being helpful, communicative and just plain lovely.

Definitely see a concert at the Municpal House. We thoroughly enjoyed a one hour 8pm performance of selections from Mozart and Dvorak. We wore jeans and sneakers. We bought the tickets at the box office. The area around the Municipal House was quite busy even after the performance (I think it was a Tuesday night).

We also had lunch at one of the restaurants, which I recommend (it was the one on the left when entering the building).

Also, try to see the building in the twilight... it looks amazing with the dark blue sky.

Hradcany is one of the old neighborhoods of Prague , and still today it has the architectural features of the old time ... historical buildings, palaces, churches, Strahov Monastery, hotels, pubs, restaurant, shops, all of these and more can be found in Hradcany.
The neighborhood is basically the area surrounding the Prague castle - although until the late 1700 is has a small town that was independent of Prague - and it became part of the city in the last years of the 1700's.
Walking the streets of this neighborhood can be very interesting, especially for those of you who are into history and architecture - but not only - it can be equally interesting for everybody who has a bit of interest in the Czech culture.
Overall a great place to walk and definitely worth the time spent here when in Prague - go for a walk in Hradcany.

In my opinion Church Of Our Lady Before Tyn is the most beautiful church in Prague, a masterpieces of Gothic architecture ,its one of the buildings I most associate with this fascinating city.
Church Of Our Lady Before Tyn dates from the 14th century, its most distinctive features are the 80 metre high twin towers, so beautiful especially when illuminated at night, in fact of a night the church looks magical as does Staromestske Namesti any time of the day or night,if you're planning a holiday to Prague its a church to most definitely check out.

Really fun experience with interactive displays and helpful staff. Greatly enjoyed it - but I would look to visit when not super crowded - we had a blast.

Sort of hard to find and Mapquest mixed up this statue with another Kafka statute so we ended up seeing both. Kind of a cool.
