Voting Record

Missed Votes

From Dec 1855 to Mar 1869, Colfax missed 139 of 2,395 roll call votes, which is 5.8%. This is better than the median of 26.6% among the lifetime records of representatives serving in Mar 1869. The chart below reports missed votes over time.

We don’t track why legislators miss votes, but it’s often due to medical absenses, major life events, and running for higher office.
